Has improved a lot through the years. Instead of stuffy small lanes, now they've installed fans and air conditioners. Heaps of cheap clothes starting from as low as $5!

If you want a taxi from Bugis go through the intercontinental hotel and they think your a guest. More taxis pick up here as they do lots of runs to the airport
