The fish chowder comes in two sized. "Big Enough" and "Oh My God How Can One Person Eat All This" but they're so good, they usually sell out by noon thirty!

Had the pan fried Kingfisher Platter: huge and tasty. Sampled my buddy's char: delicious. They do take Visa credit cards. Well-worth it. Locals recommend it.

Expect to pay about $50 for dinner and a drink (there is no fixed menu), but it is totally worth it!! I had the Arctic char and it was absolutely delicious.

The pan-fried fish is fresh and delicious, so is the fish chowder. Sit at a table with other people and make new friends! Don't forget to leave a note or card on the wall/ceiling!

The service was excellent. The building is very interesting. The food was great and came fast. All the fish was great. Pan fried was my favorite.

I am pretty sure it's all amazing. Freshest fish I have ever had! Only one cook, the owner. A perfect real northern experience.

Anything and everything is good on the menu. I personally don't mind the service, but I've been going since I was 10 so maybe I'm just used to it.

Panfried pickerel (seasonal) is delicious as are the fresh home made buns. Make a reservation if you plan to go on the weekend or you could be kicked out!

Be sure to write your name on the wall at this Yellowknife "must see". Don't expect good service but expect exceptional food. I recommend the trout or the caribou.

If the Muskox is on the menu when you're there, get it! It's different and delicious!
