The burgers are a lot worse than a couple years ago. Now they're bigger and with less taste. The double burger is so large that is hard to bite, and the whole thing fall apart. Not coming back anymore

Very good...But. This is a classic greasy burger fresh high quality ingredients, but it's not worth the 45 min line you have to be on, or fighting for a table...if this place has a short line go.

The price goes up every year. First time I went it was 5$ for a hamburger fries and milkshake now it's 17$ for a burger and milkshake. I love this place but with this price it's not worth it

In contention for the best burger in NYC, Burger Joint serves a delicious Pat LaFrieda proprietary blend of beef that is delicious at this hole in the wall hidden behind a curtain in the Parker

Good burgers, but it's the funky atmosphere that you NEED to come here for! From the docor, to the music, to the way they serve the actual food, it's definitely worth a visit!!!

You really gotta follow your nose to find this awesome hidden spot. Once you're there, rehearse your order in your head. Ordering will be stressful, but well worth not going to the end of the line.

Get s rare burger with the works. Couple it with fries. Sit outside over to the right of the hotel in a park area. So worth it! One of the best burgers you can get in NYC.

A hidden star in a fancy hotel. Follow the neon burger. Love the place. The food was ok but you can find better burgers and french fries. However I recommend it because of the atmosphere.

If the lineup isn't too long then jump on in. Otherwise make your way down to shake shack for an even better burger. Ps. Don't forget the milkshake!

Great burger to go along with a good staff .. the line was a little long on a Saturday evening but the burger was well worth the wait and the brownie was pretty good also

Stumbled onto this place via 4Sq and almost bailed when we saw the line. Glad we didn't as it was worth the 30 min wait! It's now my number one burger place worldwide. Delicious!

people told me it is the best NY hamburger. I wasn't believing. but it is perfect!! Just don't think milkshake is in the same level. oh, and good news: now they accept credit cards.

Pro-tip: Have your friend grab the first table that opens up, doesn't matter if you're still waiting on the line. Fries are overrated, burgers are as good as you'd hope, shakes are top-notch.

This place really brings the word "institution" to my mind. They have burgers and fries and you will not find the place unless you know it's there. Nevertheless there is always a long line.

The burger is extremely delicious! Order a double cheeseburger, medium, the works (all toppings) with fries. Make sure you come early the line is almost 30 mins.

The Burger Joint has been making this burger since it opened in its first location inside Le Parker Meridien in October, 2002. Approximately 1,200 cheeseburgers with 'the works' are sold each day. Read more

Tucked away in the Parker Meridien’s lobby, this is the go-to spot for a burger after you hit up MoMA. To enter, look for the neon burger sign. Sun-Thur: 11am-11:30pm | Fri-Sat: 11am-Midnight

Great burger place in one of the most unlikely places. On your left immediately after the front desk of the hotel. Very limited seating, so grab a seat when you can. BURGER NAZI !!

Had a hard time finding this place since it was hidden behind a curtain near the front desks! Burgers were ok. Really small inside so make sure you don't go during rush hours if you want to sit

This burger spot tucked away inside the hotel is great for a cheeseburger, fries, milk shake combo. 90s posters and signatures on the walls make the divebar-esque atmosphere. Worth the trip!
  • Miguel Andrés Y.
They are good burgers but I feel that they were better and larger before. I'm largely disappointed now. But if you want a really middle of nowhere Arkansas experience in midtown manhattan go for it.

I found this place on 4sq. Quite difficult to find but easier than u think. Burgers are ok but not amazing and very small. The place is great. The magic is that it's inside an elegant hotel!

Overpriced, but v good burger. Get the medium rare cheeseburger with the works, vanilla shake, and fries - $19.75 at the time of writing (!!). Efficient operation but v tiny kitchen - expect to wait.

The allure of this place is more interesting than the food. Strictly for tourist. If u think its the best burger then you don't eat burgers. I get the juxtaposition. The coolest part was finding it.

Evoking a 1970s snack shack, burger offerings here are kept simple—a yellow-and-white-cheddar blend, Heinz ketchup, straight-from-the-bag Arnold buns and the usual lettuce-tomato-pickle toppings. (RC) Read more

A little pricey for the size burger you get, but no denying how tasty it is. Plus, who can deny the fun of walking past a curtain and following an unmarked neon burger sign to find this hidden spot.

I don't know if it's a top five burger in NYC. But definitely in the top ten. A must visit if you don't mind sticking out a wait amongst throngs of tourists. Bring a marker to sign the wall.

hands down the best burger i've had in nyc. hidden to the left once you pass the front desk. line's long but it moves quickly. have someone in your party snag a table while you wait to order.

One of my favorite spots in NYC. Seating is hard to come by, so be patient, be nice, and enjoy the community of folks who love the burgers and fries as much as you do! It's really great!

It's a burger at a luxurious level. And in terms of food, we all know that portions are small. But that's the good thing about Burger Joint. Burgers, fries, and shakes are fresh and always perfect.

A GREAT hole in the wall (you'll need to look hard) for some great burger & fries! A bit $$$ (hey, it's NYC) but it's well worth it. The place is very small so be alert when people leave their tables.

The line from 12-1:30 can be about 15-20 minutes long and they don't do milkshakes during peak hours. Its a great burger though. Good Burger puts up a good fight at a lower cost without the lines.
