The last few times I've been here (and paid cover) the band has been stopped mid-set or mid-song. Which has been 30-45+ prior to closing time.
They now have Ron Zacapa rum, the best rum this side of IDL. Order it neat or on the rocks, w/ a squeeze of key lime (if they have them). Don't junk this perfect rum up w/ a bunch of mixers. Cheers!

They have Reuben egg rolls. The greatest thing in existence.
New menu is excellent .... Old favorites and soon to be new ones.
James RichardsJuly 28, 2012I really liked this place. It's got a relaxed, friendly and familiar feel too it, and the staff is top notch.
Ask if they have any soda bread. Best secret yum in town.
Get the fish and chips. You can't get a better bar meal for such a great price anywhere else.
One of the few Frederick Bars not adorned by Christmas lights & Yuppies. Ultra cheap Guinness on Wed. Better chances of a good band performing here on a Sat night than anywhere else downtown.
