Butter Midtown has a menu that's full of hearty dishes, many of which are cooked in a wood-fired oven. Standouts include the Welsh rarebit, the roasted chicken, and the monster Tomahawk steak for two.

The grilled double cut pork chop is amazing! Everything on this plate including the collard green sauerkraut was flavorful. This dish is a must. Have it prepared medium, great stuff!

The bread is toasted to perfection, but its sea salt crusted top is the real showstopper. Absolutely divine. For an appetizer, order the Brussels sprouts with homemade ricotta

The interior decor is enough to check this place out. I have gone for restaurant week but the service is always fantastic and they will give you as much bread and fancy butter as your heart desires

This place is definitely special. Try the pear cocktail - to die for. Also, the raspberry beignets are their signature dessert for a reason. Take your time here. Enjoy every bite.

The entrees were amazing! Get the NY strip steak. Raspberry beignets were pretty good too, although a tad too tart. The veal bacon wasn't too great, mostly due to the sour mustard sauce.

The Pork Chop Ribs are so tasty. But the Halibut is a most. We share both an it was a great decision to be able to try it. The key lime ice pie was almost perfect.

The raspberry beignets were outstanding! The vanilla dipping sauce took them to the next level. Everything on the dessert menu looked amazing.

The pan-seared branzino was delicious. Butter-cut beef fillet was legendary. A great spot for a romantic dinner. Also, a beautiful decor and a relatively quiet restaurant.

As much as I love the ambiance here the place is starting to feel dated. Unimaginative cocktail list needs help. Why do the straws come with paper on top? Is this a diner??

Try the Foie Gras - With smashed Concord grape jelly & toast points. You would never think of putting grape jelly with foie gras, but it worked & was sooo good

Try the veal bacon. This and the primitvo wine mustard on top definitely gives pork bacon a run for its money.

Try the Sea Bass With Asian Pear - Crispy skin on the fish & the pears were pickled in something that imparted a sweet & spicy thing on the tongue.

Definitely exceeded expectations. I'm with everyone about that Brussels sprouts appetizer...excellent. Cocktails are also great, but they better be at those prices.

Venue is big and gorgeous. With Alex Guarnaschelli's name, it doesn't have a problem filling that space. Meal food is great but I was not quite satisfied with desserts...

Didn't make it out for Monday night? Go for dinner any other day of the week—it will more than make up for it. Chef Guarnaschelli definitely know's her way around a menu.

Drinks run a bit pricey, so your best bet is to split a bottle of wine at the bar and an order of very good fries.

Try the Deviled Eggs & Bacon - Wow. You could smell the house cured bacon as the server put the plate down. Porky goodness.

If you have at least 3 hours to spare, do the chef tasting. Excellent food, I must say. Otherwise, stick to their a la carte menu.

Decent pre-fixe for lunch. Cauliflower entree was unique and good. Skate wing was served pretty cold & needed a side dish to make it a meal. Loud. Not great for conversation.
