Authentic and trendy Vietnamese Restaurant with in Soho, London, with Pho and Banh Cuon as special.
Disorganised and irritating staff who bug you fir everything. Food is great but don't sit by the aircon, it's freezing!
Tried frogs legs for starter - v good. Soft crab curry - tastey but v hot spice - ox cheek pho - amazingly tender meat with liight lemongrass soup - v tastey if slightly large chunks of meat
Front of house is a complete disaster - no one knows what is going on
Just as good as the original Old Street restaurant only in a funkier location, with brand new interiors and now also accepting Amex. Vietnamese flavour at its best!
The Hanoi PHo was great. Omg this is one of fanciest Vietnamese restaurants I have ever been to.
Also Cay Tre now has an express lunch menu - spicy pho PS they have good air conditioning!
Service has improved a lot - they currently have a guy called Rory f-o-h so is now pretty good and the food has always been excellent
BBQ pork and Noodles was very tasty.
Grilled aubergine and frogs legs. Try them, you won't regret it.
Beautiful broth. Try the Saigon satay pho and the four mushroom pho side by side to cover a huge spectrum of flavour.
Good pho but the waiter is such a pho-ker (hahaha)
Beef Pho (Time Out London's 100 Best Dishes)
Excellent food - try the salt and pepper frogs legs and the wild boar!
The mushroom pho: Skinny and delicious! You will become an addict!
The service is pretty shitty here but the pho is just too good...and everything else
Veggies beware, just because an item on the menu sounds veggie, it doesn't mean it is...
Awesome classic pho, probably best in central London. Most dishes are pretty good.
The staff are pretentious and rude. The classic pho tastes like water, I'd recommend getting a different flavour.
Pho is too sweet, noodles are too thick, but rice noodle rolls are great. Old St location is much more authentic.
Make sure you have a reservation. The beef inside pho is very tender and yummy.
Nothing like the original near old street, been glammed up for Soho crowd but the food is no longer authentic. Starters were good but mains such as pork belly were disappointing!
Vietnamese food brought to the realms of finer dining – and nothing short of sublime. Beautifully executed bowls of pho, plus small sharing dishes. Oh, and best cha gio pork spring rolls in Soho.
Try the mixed sea food with ramen, it's fabulous!
Best Vietnamese restaurant in Central London, (I think).
The food was really tasty. I especially liked the duck. Also try the water spinach and the tamarinds soup.
Try spring rolls and Pho! It's super delicious :)
Grilled aubergine starter absolutely stunning. And you won't regret ordering the Mahi Mahi fish curry
Food is good but service is appalling. Table of 9. All main courses came out in stages over 30 mins - some dishes completely wrong and 2 peoples orders forgotten entirely.
Love the summer rolls but Old Street is much better than this shoddy soho branch. Shame I work too far from Old St now :(
Summer rolls with cured beef and pineapple are yummy and mains portions are BIG!
Get the shaking beef. You won't regret it.
Great food, but take your ear plugs with you :)
Very early days at the new Cay Tre but great food-recommend mackerel summer rolls, squid is good, so is octopus and the beef papaya salad washed down with some hanoi beer or the excellent house white
Ovde je stvarno super hrana.
Decent tofu bun sa.
