People tend to check in during these times:
Cesar Chavez Park, built on the site of a former landfill, offers a wide range of recreational opportunities in a marina setting with spectacular views of the three bay bridges, Alcatraz, and Angel Island.
Off leash is well marked (could use a couple more signs). Awesome bay views. Great for kites and Sat/Sun planes/helis/hacks fly near the dog bowl.
bring a jacket if the sun isn't out. it can get very cold with all the wind.

If you are flying RC planes or helis, practice good etiquette and safety. Don't fly over or close to people or animals. Keep the park safe and fun for all.
Best views of SF Bay facing west and the Golden Gate. Climb the little hill on the western edge and enjoy the view from one of the benches.
Try to find the secret hamster graveyard.
Berkeley Kite Festival every last weekend of July
On clear days you can see downtown SF, Alcatraz, the bay bridge, the Golden Gate bridge, Sausalito & Berkeley hills. During certain seasons the west side of the park is home to white spotted owls!
At the end of Spinnaker Drive is a small circle and parking lot where you can watch the sunset behind the Golden Gate.
Dog park with a beautiful view of the bay. Usually chilly out here so bring a sweater when you walk your dog.
