World-renowned Chef Todd English's newest restaurant concept, Ça Va, is located in the heart of New York City's Theater district. Ça Va is a modern twist on the traditional brasserie serving lunch and dinner, as well as a Pre-Theater dining menu.
The food is OK. Overall, the venue is better than the entrees. The bar & lounge is better than the food, though tor Times Square, this a far better option than Red Lobster or TGIF.
The price vs authenticity is rather bad. The food is rather blah in comparison to other French places in the area. Go elsewhere and get better quality for the same prices and with much better service.
Service in the restaurant is outstanding but a little average in the lounge. Do the boozy brunch - $41 for an entree + 2 hours of cocktails. The Mac n cheese is epic.
French onion soup and Mac n cheese to die for. Paul will take care of you!
Очень неплохое место посидеть днем или вечером в тишине, поговорить и легко перекусить
The food here is amazing. Try the chefs specialty, the charcuterie plate. Unreal! Rabbit, duck, wild boar. All homemade. The chef came to our table and explained all the dishes. Great experience.
Believe it or not.. But get the Mac and Cheese... Amazing!
Great service! Pre-theater dinner was delicious.
NY strip with bacon jam...whhaaaatttt!?! Do it.
Dine in or take a turkey dinner to go
Not exactly French, or good for that matter. Spend your money elsewhere
Try the gnocchi. Absolutely delicious.
If you want to wait 20 minutes for a bloody Mary, go ahead. Wait in line at shake shack for a good meal.
very good food ! open for breakfast , lunch and dinner , seven days a week !
Bummer. Staff said I needed to print out the deal. That's not how this works! Great bar and atmosphere.
Sad Ça Va has shut its cafe and light fare to go. IC TS needs lobby space. If fans ask main Ça Va for to go, maybe it and IC will offer it.
Try the Fresh Bread And Butter - The best way to start a late lunch
The burger is made with a variety of cuts. Eat rare for a most pleasing experience. Amazing texture and taste. Not a typical burger.
Grilled seabass is good
Fancy lunch Ans little escape from work :-)
Love the truffle mac & cheese! Well done Mr English
Don't expect that an order of asparagas in the lounge will be served as finger food. Who'd of thought?
They give a full baguette of fresh baked warm bread for the table. Also best soft-shell crab I've ever had!
Want great Todd English food? Go to Olives. The excellent creme brulee and blueberry cheesecake hardly made up for salty lobster bisque, bland soft shelled crab and mediocre hanger steak. Meh service.
Blueberry Lemon Cheesecake was delicious
for the sweet tooth lovers like moi Hazelnut Pot La Creme
The steak frites is sick
The veggie/goat cheese panini is a great "to-go" option
Dim, decorative and über-chic, this Theater District hotspot offers a cosmopolitan take on the classic European bistro. It’s the perfect place to settle down for a pre- or post-show meal.
The fried oysters wrapper in carpaccio is very good but the rest was very disappointing.
Owner and Chef, Todd English’s favorite dish on the menu is the salad with Duck confit, haricot verts and seared foie gras in a vinaigrette. Ca Va was inspired by his favorite place in Paris.
Todd English... Inside InterContinental Hotel, Times Square... Great.
I disagree with The Times dissing Mr. English. All drinks and food are delish!
The fois gras mushroom appetizer is especially moist and tasty.
