    People say this is this place to get your beignets - not Cafe Du Monde. These were the best I've ever had for sure. Live jazz here too - even on a Thursday morning.

    Start with the obvious, the beignet's. These little sugar pillows of deliciousness were great. I got a order of 3 and the first 2 were perfect, the 3rd i left because it was over fried on 1 side.

    Steamboat Willie's live music is great but the beignets themselves are too sense and heavy. I prefer the lighter fluffier version at Cafe du Monde

    I only stopped in for a frozen drink to go, but the place is adorable and has a fun energy. Live band in an adorable courtyard makes it a great spot to relax.

    Had breakfast Cajun hash browns. Potatoes were stale and sausage was remarkably like canned frankfurters. Go for omelets instead. And coffee with beignets.

    Way better than Cafe Du Monde. And they have breakfast items too. Beignets baked fresh. After you order, pick up everything you will need: utensils, salt, pepper etc. before you sit down.

    The jambalaya here was the first bad meal of my trip. If you're looking for real food, don't bother. I'm sure a beignet would've been fine, though.

    Like I said, I ordered a hurricane. $8 for grenadine on ice in a Dixie cup. I'm now two doors down listening to Santana and drinking a hurricane twice the size WITH booze!!

    Shrimp PO Boy is not good. No sauce very plain. Shrimp wasn't wasn't even cleaned out. Gumbo was good!

    Excellent beignets (obviously) great service, fantastic jazz, excellent atmosphere. You must stop by if you visit NOLA, great respite from from the debauchery of Bourbon st. Check out the statues!!

    Beignet's are awesome! Stay away from the crawfish omelet. It is really fishy tasting. Cajun potatoes are good.
