Perfect Wiener Kaffehaus feel, ideally preserved interior of 60s, classical apfelstrudel.

Don't be bothered. It's overrated. Horrible staff. Hard-boiled egg was not done properly. Coffee was mediocre.

Maybe one of best cake i ever ate but i can't understand how they are making these cakes without love since their boss and waitresses are very unfriendly.Especially chef waitress with a pissedoff face

Terrible service, had to wait for an appelstrudel for 45 minutes. And paid 5 euros for a simple toast and paid for the ketchup that came with it as well. Overratted!

Used to love this place, but the homophobe value system the owner of Prückel communicates publicly made me to decide not to support this opinion in the 21st century.

AVOID IT. It's absolutely homophobic; a few days ago a lesbian couple had to leave just because they were kissing each other.

Be aware of the publicly homophobic owner: http://wien.orf.at/news/stories/2688749/ - there are plenty very nice alternatives.

Nice Coffeehouse. Althought pretty pricey (Café Latte for €4,10) and dort od trainstation feeling (big loud room). Good and friendly service though and the free wifi is a plus!

Great 70's designed Café with a lovely atmosphere especially on a day where there is some piano. Did I mention the coffee was amazing but quite expensive.

If you like the 50s you will love this iconic coffeeshop. If not, you will still like it a lot. Just have a "kleiner Brauner" and an "Apfelstrudel" and you will be happy.

Across from the MAK, you’ll find this slice of 1950’s nostalgia, with a large terrace and menu featuring regional dishes such as soused herring. A pianist serenades guests in the evenings.

Nice cafe, if you like 70s :) why would stick a cafehaus to 70s, when it has been established more than 100 year ago...

An inspiring place to spend an hour, drink coffee, watch people, read a newspaper. Looks like its frozen in the last century. A perfect get away from daily rush.
