The place to go after a stroll in the weekend market. Typical Viennese cafe with live music in the afternoon. This being Vienna, pastries & desserts are delicious!
Traditional cozy Viena's cafe, with no tourists.
Nice environment in a classical Viennese cafe!!!
Rude waitress!! so slow service, never come back again!
The staff is really polite. Not.
It's a nice and with a traditional look too
Nice historical decoration. But waiters are too rude. Prices are ok.
Typical Viennese coffeehouse with cosy tables next to the windows. Step-free access.
Nice and authentic, delicious pastries, but service could be better and no pin, only cash!
Traditional Viennese cafe. I had the schnitzel which was delicious! Side salad was ok. Really cozy cafe.
The waiter gave us 10 seconds to order and then walked off. The Pariser Schnitzel was good though. The coffee not so much.
We sat in a cosy window booth, drank beer & are risotto and Italian toast (pesto, mozarella and tomato on toast) - both were very lovely. Atmosphere is laidback, warm and quiet. Great people-watching.
Viennese Classic. Apfelstrudel is the best ( be aware, it's cold but awesome). Outstanding coffee. No Russians.
Finest apfelstrudel I have ever eaten! I recommend it :)
very touristic cafe, workers are extremely spoiled- no idea about service. limited menu selection, over-priced just due to old / authentic atmosphere... would not recommend anybody...
Although it is kind of authentic the service is very rude and unpleasant
Very nice place, good atmosphere, but service is awful, too unhelpful and the menu only in German
A touch of historical treasure and great coffee !
Where time stopped, beautiful atmosphere, typical unhelpful stuff, definitelly a must!:) I prefer coffee and sacher torte in Cafe Hawelka though.
You can enjoy good music played by the pianist and have delicious desserts with coffee. 9,5/10
Really good atmosphere with delicious desserts.
Sacher Torte is yumm! Much fresher than the one at Cafe Sacher
Very old Viennese coffeehouse with a great interior. A must see if you want to the explore the "Wiener Kaffeehaus Kultur".
It took some 90 minutes to have my sandwich, simply because they forgot about the order. Very original, nice and tasty place with slow service.
Hopeless service. Skip this place.
A go-to spot for the city’s literati, Café Sperl has intimate, velvet-lined booths and is the ideal place to linger over the newspaper and a piece of Sacher torte.
Nice, old classic décor. Melange was ok. Waitress made me pay right away. A bit rude but that could just be service in all of Vienna.
The internet says this was one of Hitler's favorite places.
Freud was visiting this cafe too while he was livin in Wien
Very cool place to enjoy your daily coffee/tea/cake (sperlschnitte) or just read newspapera or meet friends. Traditional kind of viennese cafe
The place is cosy, the food&drinks-great. However, watch out for EXTREMELY rude waitresses who can ruin your great experience with their attitude. It's amazing such people are allowed to serve others!
Best Topfenstrudl in town
So Viennse Cafehaus.
Drink the coffee, enjoy the place, avoid the toilet..
Round off the afternoon at the wonderfully atmospheric Café Sperl (Gumpendorfer Strasse 11).
One of the nicest coffee houses in Vienna. Good coffee, cakes and free Wifi but also a bit of history, it is rumoured that Adolf Hitler hanged around here when he was a struggling artist.
Try the Sperlschnitte - not too cheap but excellent
Best place for breakfast. The place is very quiet and the food is very good. Peace :)
Delicious apple strudel!
one of the most typical, charming wiener cafes!
Scenes of A Dangerous Method at this café are the best part of the movie... That says it all for this place. And the film.
a must-go cafe in vienna, nice atmosphere and historical decor~
Authetic viennese "Kaffeehaus"! A coffee shop like in the good old days...
Terrible slow service but à wonderful place!
Wonderful, get kaffee, enjoy outdoors in shade
One of the nicest coffee houses in Vienna. Good coffe, delucious cakes and free Wlan.
