They always have some sport on the TV (mostly soccer), which is a unique choice for a cafe (one that I personally love).
Salads are around $8 but are quite large
workers always seem to be in a bad mood.
A bit pricey for smaller fare and coffee, but lovely atmosphere.
Armosphere, full bar, good fresh food-what's not to like?
This cafe at the NW corner of Central Park has lots of outdoor seating and good, light food.
It's pricey, but I'm a big fan of local coffee shops and they do a good job. They're not super friendly, but it's easy to ignore.
Treat yourself to $7 mimosas during brunch! No laptops on weekends but iPads seem to be ok. Wifi password is "cafecafe00"
The hot chocolate here is fantastic.
Cool bohemian place in midtown.
15 minutes in this place and you'll completely understand why it was voted a top neighborhood bar by Village Voice. A comforting atmosphere to relax with your peoples.
An oasis in an area of crappy coffee. Yummy food and a great place to work. No laptops on weekends though.
Decent latte and macaroons
Go to Birch or the Hungarian Pastry Shop instead. These people hate anyone with laptops. No wifi on the weekends, outlets covered up so you can't recharge. Just go elsewhere.
Club sandwich is great, grilled chicken one is less good.
If you wait longer than a few minutes for your food make sure your ticket wasn't turned around because that happened.
Great brunch spot. 3 egg omelette w Salad for $10 good deal. Nice atmosphere. Make it your go to place.
Cute cafe, but food and coffee are just ok.
Grab a brunch menu from the counter before joining the long weekend line.
Breakfast/brunch is overpriced and mediocre. Microwaved bacon, limp plain lettuce, canned salmon in the omlette, French toast comes in lake of fake syrup, disaffected staff. Good coffee though.
Coffee is great. Ambiance is stellar for the closest place like this in tha hood. Outside seating is fab in the summer As long as no one is smoking. Then It's gross.
If you have work to do, call ahead to see how busy they are because during peak times, they don't allow laptops. And outlets are few and far between!
Go when Shanna is working. Best bartender in the neighborhood.
Great place to chill out. Service is just ok but food is good.
Happy hour everyday...Saturday 4 - 9 pm
Better coffee, and cheaper, than Starbucks...also very cute inside and nice tables outside
Be careful they will over charge you,
Usually get the avocado salad. Coffee was a bit weak today :(
Great atmosphere and outdoor seating with your pets. However the bartenders are a bit stand-offish at times & the last couple times I got a latte to go, I barely tasted espresso...just mostly milk
Fluffy yummy Salmon omelette
their Machiatos are like the ones that I used to have in Rome
Lovely Outdoors tables
Love these guys. Owner always says hello to the regulars, his staff are pleasant and attentive and happy to make your time there enjoyable. I recommend the paninis. All are great.
Gio is a great cashier, bartender, and order taker. He was so nice during my big order for my table, and was able to handle multiple customer orders while tending to the bar.
Snacks and sandwiches make the grade. Wifi keeps em coming. After the sun sets, the bar has it's own attractions. The booze ain't bad either. Avoid buying items from the traveling vendors in need of $
Good place to grab breakfast and watch Premier League matches
Good lattes and a good place to do some work or watch a footy match.
Lady at the counter…I won't call her a barista because she wasn't one…tried to pass off a stale shot of espresso in my Americano. I noticed. She sheepishly remade it when I asked her or a fresh one.
Critics' Pick winner of The Village Voice Best of NYC 2012 Best Neighborhood Hangout!
Do not come here if you are in any concern about time. Service is painfully slow.
They really need more staff in the mornings, takes forever to order just a coffee :(
Do not get take out. I just got this. Turkey an bread. I guess they forgot the lettuce, the tomato the onion and the side salad. It took 10 minutes to make and cost 10 bucks- really?
Brunettes at register are always angry...and very slow.
I love this place ! its so warm and homey. frequented by locals, it is a great place to sit and get work done and munch on some great food.
Best guacamole I've had outside of Texas!
Reccos: Either of the iced teas, turkey and brie sandwich, latte, blueberry pancakes, bagel sandwiches, sangria.
Amazing cappuccino. Reasonable prices. Convenient location. Get a panini :)
