With its Mediterranean ambiance and reputation for world music DJ sessions, Cafe Noir has kept an "in the know" crowd moving and shaking on its SoHo corner for over 15 years. Cafe Noir is currently closed & in the process of relocating to 35 Lispenard St.

    Open patio when it's warm out. Great place to drink in the middle of the day. Often a live DJ. Can be pretty euro but not the nauseating variety you usually find in Soho.

    This place is VERY interesting. They only take AMEX or cash - no visa/MC. The food is all very good and the crowd is amazingly diverse. Would recommend it for anyone but tourists will like this.a lot
