The downstairs sections are greatly overlooked. They're extremely quiet and perfect if you want to focus.

Saturn, which is light enough to float in a big enough bathtub, is represented in the Museum of Science Community Solar System with a model in the DeVito Music Room. If you find it, create a check-in!

Look up the heraldic symbol for the Maltese Cross in Shepherd's Glossary of Graphic Signs and Symbols. Look for book in Reference Room, call # [R] 419 Sh48s . Jot down page #.

Admire the tall archways in the large-print books and study area and the computer and printing area, or eat and drink at the tables lining the hallway beside the outdoor patio. Read more

Great place to study, although it can get loud when the high school kids arrive at 3pm. Cheap food is available across the street at Angelos, where very large slices of pizza are $1.50.

Check out a "speed read" book (if you're a fast reader) - popular books you can get much faster, in person at the library, for a week.
