People tend to check in during these times:
One of the best Wi-Fi's on western campgrounds.
Don't expect to get any sleep here. People are very loud (partying and playing music all night). The camp sites are very small -- probably 10' wide so you're on top of your neighbors.
With the family for the week. :)
Hungry Wolf cafe is far overpriced. Better to take your family out to eat somewhere in SD and you'll save more. Great ice cream tho.
I liked being able to post about this campground using their own wifi. Nice way to get your name out there, if you ask me.
Nice place for tourists - friend from Los Angeles was here - I'm native San Diegan so - ya know- just not what I call camping- nice showers though.
The best bathrooms are by Row L! no one goes over there at bath time :)
If you want privacy, stay far from the beach. Place gets busy, especially during peak travel seasons and when the kids are out.
Best place to be in San Diego! Expensive campsites but well worth the price! Drive SLOW! Can see Seaworld's Fireworks show out on jetti; go at about 9:30 to get a good spot, show starts around 9:45pm!
Bring bug spray.
Aloe Vera plant in between Game room and white tent, next to stairs. Heals sunburns QUICK! Market is expensive! Suggest going to Vons left down Garnet.
Don't be in a hurry. Watch out for kids. Everywhere. Hot showers work! Boat parking sucks. Overall it's a good place
Sea Doos are expensive here
Soak in the warm pool or even warmer hot tub til 22.45. Even take a few beers in aswell...
Metrobus #30 takes you to La Jolla.
Complementary shuttle to Sea World, Old Town or the Zoo.
Great vacation place for families with kids. There are recreational fun/active recreational activities scheduled throughout the day to keep the kids busy
The Hungry Wolf Cafe now has a full liquor license so you can get a margarita or other mixed drink.
