People tend to check in during these times:
Don't ever do a down and back! Just keep going to Georgetown and catch the metro back. Otherwise it's a long rough uphill the whole way.
Nice trail. Great way to walk from MoCo to DC...and back again. Half marathon training location.
Watch out for the Team Ultra Alpha Lycra Riding Lunatics
I enjoy walking the trail. Major shortcut to Bethesda Row. Lots of people on it during the afternoon.
A good place to go running.....great place to get away in your head with great music
The trail was formerly used as the Georgetown Branch rail line of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad!
Not where the Purple Line is going to be.
The tree covered trail helps keep it cooler on hot days. Watch out for blind curves and please stay to the right and try not to walk 3 and 4 abreast.
I never listen to my iPod on this trail - too many people on it for you to be plugged in and miss someone yelling out, "On the left!" and then get crashed into.
To impatient to go south anytime after 8 am. Too many people
Great trail for the bike commuter. You definitely need serious lights after dark. While I have always felt safe riding it at any hour, others may not.
