I love Cap Records. I don't think it looks like stacks of records tho, I think it just looks like art deco of it's time.
This landmark was built to resemble--you guessed it, a stack of records. Capitol is still the musical home to singers Avant, LeToya Luckett, Corinne Bailey Rae, Bobby V., Katy Perry and others.
Built to resemble stacks of records on a turntable, the 13-floor tower is a landmark—even attracting aliens in 1996's Independence Day. Inside are world-famous recording studios, designed by Les Paul.
Once a month we meet here around midnight till dawn and sell our used records and collectors items in the parking lot. I'm in the red Buick and I have some great "live" Beatles recordings (cough.)
