A drive along scenic coastal highway A1A takes you to Cap’s on the Water. Cap’s is a waterfront restaurant located between Ponte Vedra and Saint Augustine. We prepare new coastal cuisine, pairing fresh local seafood with traditional Southern, as well as Mediterranean flavors.
Outdoor seating - great place to take friends.
If you want to hang out, head straight for the oyster bar. Less foot traffic, relaxing and fun area to drink and enjoy all afternoon or night.
Be sure to swing from the trees while you're here.
Make sure your whole party is there when you go to get seated. They won't seat you until all of you are here. Head to the bar and enjoy a Mimosa or to the oyster bar outside while you wait!
Beautiful, relaxed place on a boardwalk on the Intracoastal Waterway. Fancy, unique, menu. A must-see.
The gator tail with citrus sauce is AWESOME!!
Great food, great wine cellar, awesome sunsets on the inter-coastal ...
Liz was amazing. Very attentive to our needs.
The calamari appetizer is a must have!
My absolute favorite place to eat anywhere! An unbeatable combination of atmosphere and great food (and a well stocked bar) makes this my go-to place in St. Augustine - just wish I lived closer!
Incredible view of the intercoastal. Great atmosphere. Had the trigger fish blackened and it was great. Def recommend.
Really nice view if you can get a table near the water.
As always, food was fantastic. Started with calamari Vilano and she crab soup. Southwestern grouper was perfection. Grouper manchego always hits the spot. It doesn't hurt that Jose is adorable.
I'm sure most come here for the seafood, but I must say the veggie burger is incredible!
The fresh catch Manchengo is outstanding! I had the striped bass and I feel so guilty leaving any of it behind! Yummy!
Jose is a clicker.
Another great night for dinner at Caps. Started with Vilano calamari and she crab soup. Grouper manchego consistently excellent. Blackened trigger also very good. Jose was very friendly and attentive.
Seriously, outside of Bern's in Tampa. this is the best wine list in the state. Excellent wines, rare allocations, all reasonably priced. They have many wines I would happily pay retail if I could.
OMG, the Cheese Fondue Bread Bowl is the yummiest thing ever! Our favorite place ever...
The miso grouper lemongrass was out of this world. Started with the Vilano calamari and the she crab soup which is a must have. #bestrestaurantever
Liz is fabulous! Need to ask for her every time!
Absolutely gorgeous sunset from the dock @ 8:30
Back patio/cutout is awesome spot to be on a Sunday afternoon pregaming for Conch House Reggae Sundays...
Start your meal with the Alligator Tail!
The wait on the weekend is usually over and hour ...
