    If you want to try something other than arepas, the Pabellón is a delicious alternative. Tequeños are a must.

    Delicious arepas, addictive tequenos along with a "we're not playing" rum list and a tasty michelada, Caracas is a lasting favorite. The back yard is a fine place in summer.

    Consistently delicious - been here 20+ times. Pro tips: Get 3 arepas per 2 people, get the guac and the Yoyos to start with. Get a pitcher of the passionfruit drink to wash it down!!

    One arepa is enough per person. I recommend the one with just shredded beef and cheese. Also the fried plantains with cheese and mojo appetizer was delicious.

    The food was reallllllly good. I enjoyed myself very much. With 3 beers a mixed drink 3 shots a side of yoyos and to arepas everything came out to 56 bucks that sounds great to me.

    The chicken chorizo arepa can't be beat. The sauce on the table should be slathered on everything you eat. Grab a seat on the patio when the weather is nice!

    The arepas are amazing. Los muchachos is a personal favourite. The service was great in this busy dinner spot. They do brunch too. I've never been, but I'd bet it's amazing.

    Amazing food. A lot of Grateful Dead on the radio during the day so I'm a happy girl. Hyacinth tea is yummy! Can get very loud and crowded like everywhere else at night.

    I regularly crave the ensalata fresca. Watercress, avocado, roasted tomatoes, cukes, cotija & magical plantain chips hidden underneath. Oh and passion fruit dressing. One of my fave salads anywhere.

    Food is pretty good, but I've had multiple bad experiences with the service here. They are pretty unfriendly and once they made a mistake giving us change and got pissy when we asked about the math.

    Good for brunch since you can get anything from the menu plus brunch specials. The soup is always good, no matter what it is. Also the magical sauce. THE SAUCE Y'ALL!

    If you're going for take out prepare to wait. Especially if you order the yoyos(fried green plantains stuffed with cheese). Call beforehand.

    I ♥ the Caracas in NYC but the Brooklyn Caracas has more tables and a wine store across the street for DIY Booze. Venezuelans tell me it's inauthentic- but it tastes real to me.
