If you're seeing a show and your tickets are at will call, you can save a lot of time by picking them up anytime before the show (even that day). The will call line the day of a show is a mad house.

Very beautiful location, the ushers at Carnegie hall are amongst the rudest people that I have dealt with in such a classy establishment. C.H. needs to invest in better ushers, DAMN THE RED COATS.

Sunday 2pm performance of the NY Youth orchestra was excellent, and much cheaper. This meant we could buy 2nd tier box seats to get the Carnegie experience for a fraction of the price

If you get a box seat, try to get seat #1, 2, or 3. You can still hear well and see well enough in the second row, but you might have a wall in seats 7 or 8 in a box

Weill Hall is a smaller, more intimate venue with great acoustics. It was perfect for a piano recital by Hyeyoung Song that I just enjoyed there.

The legend.Not to be missed. Show up day of early to try and get last minute 'day of' discounted tickets. Brilliant acoustics. All the greats have played here. The Beatles, Judy, The Doors, etc..

The bathroom sitch is difficult during shows as you have to go two floors down. Otherwise, gorgeous building. Fantastic acoustics.

For some pop artist concerts, they set out bins of Ricola throat drops for guests to grab from on their way out. So don't be afraid to bring your inner tweeny bopper and SHOUT your hearts OUT!

Try to attend an Open Working Rehearsal if you can. While a little more casual, you get to witness first-hand the pursuit of perfection. It's a real treat.

Was pushed out after the show. Only 2 people staffing the merch table & very long line. Needed the bathroom but they were locked off. Expected more from a world-class venue. Show was amazing tho.

Beautiful, beautiful venue. However, the seats in the balcony offer less legroom than the cabin of a power wheels car. Mentally prepare yourself if you're over 5'4.
