Nice view, never caught in traffic on the bridge itself.
You pay going eastbound.
Don't forget your Fastrak!
Pretty view towards the city
There's no good spot to cross the bridge (parendicular that is) unless you're good at climbing or willing to get wet
Don't jump off, it's not worth it
Beautiful day and a fantastic panoramic view. On my way to SFO from Sears Point Race Track
Lanes narrow pretty quickly after tool booth.
It was awesome!!!!
Smell that Bay Area air, mmm
Get in the two right lanes if you don't have Fastrak. It's that simple. Read the signs. Don't wait until you've reached the toll plaza to change lanes.
Great since the construction finished.
Fastrak is AMAZING to have
Don't get too excited... You're not there yet!
5 bucks to cross!!! Lame
$5.00 to take the bridge :/ omg
Enjoy the view of the C&H Sugar Company factory as you go down the I-80 East side of the bridge.
You can walk across the west bound side.
Did you know? Built in 1927, the Carquinez Bridge was built by two grocers to transport goods from Solano County to Contra Costa County.
Cute miniature Bay Bridge heading out of the Bay area + Golden Gate Bridge heading in. Might seem off-putting at first, but you'll quickly warm to it after a few trips to Wine Country and Tahoe.
"I'm on the Carquinez Bridge, terminal three, quarter after seven,Pockets full of hundreds, can't seem to find no ones, engine revvin" - e-40 "All Tha' Time"
Get and use Fastrak. It'll save you time & the hassle of dealing with the toll people!
Avoid lanes 5-6 lol the Indian lady is purposely SLOW very annoying
Toll required for heading toward I-80 E
