If you can't snag a ticket for the paid benefit shows in the summer, grab a blanket + friends and chill outside the walls, you'll still be able to hear fine. Look out for dancing children.
It's a treat to live near here during the summertime when there's always great concerts.

Went to see Sonic Youth last Friday. They're still as mad as ever. Just with better equipment and better roadies than the old days. It was great. Only a few shows left.
Bandshell needs more restrooms
For popular shows the line at the 9th St. entrance grows faster than the line at 11th St.
It was fantastic, great movie great music, I loved it!
Come early for a good seat. Or even better but a membership. Great benefits and you also get he warm fuzzies from supporting a great Brooklyn happening.
Shaggy was worth the trip, he was truly entertaining.

The setting is amazing, especially on a nice summer night. Bring a blanket, some food and some friends, and grab a seat on the lawn. Make sure to come very early, as the line to get in can be crazy!
This was such a great, beautiful venue to see a show (especially Robert Plant!)! So easy to get to, too.

Yo La Tengo: poorly served by awful sound they deliver a lousy performance. Time for the main act
Great music last night. Good food concession & great beers. I enjoyed a blanket on the lawn with friends, and then had no problem finding a seat to watch the main act.
Get a friend pass for $50 - it lets you cut the long line all summer long!
Bring an umbrella or a poncho. It's raining.
