Try the Thai Red Curry from Dining. Have to say it's one of the best I've had

Usually visit longLeat but fancied a change. Sports cafe drinks and food are extortionate prices, the swimming pool is great, lovely walking or cycling around everywhere. Great holiday for all.
Excellent place to enjoy with the family or to relax in the evening.
We stayed in Villa 483 Oak and it is no more than 5 min walk to main square. 10 mins from sports cafe and only 15 to forresters inn / nature centre / driving range. Perfect area if you have young kids
If you're coming in half term/school holidays always pre book restaurants and as many activities as poss as it gets really busy

The light switch for the kitchen lights is behind the microwave.
Go and say hello to the brilliant staff in Sportique!
The pancake house has much better cappuccinos than Cafe Rouge

Not much fun if you don't like water or getting wet. Unless you like coffee... But then technically that's mostly water too...
It's a really good play area, with a swinging rope bridge across a river, wobbly boats, telescope, climbing frames and more.
You can bring a mobility scooter right into the subtropical swimming paradise, but the turns are very sharp so it might be best to ask for assistance.
It's a gorgeous villa, but be careful when putting towels on the heated towel rail in the accessible bathroom, it is very very hot.
Lovely villa very close to play area and village square
Also, bizarrely, the supermarket can't do cash-back on some cards - natwest for example. Avoid the pool after lunch on Saturday. Having said all that, just had a great long weekend
