If going for the deli's hard-boiled eggs, bring an audio book: they are consistently over-cooked and take an eternity to peel without destroying them.
To avoid crowds, I shop between 9:00 and 11:00 p.m.!
They have fresh juices - my favorite is the Rabbits Delight with a doubleshoot of wheatgrass
Skip Trader Joe's and head here for great local produce, tons of bulk items, and truly sustainable shopping. Good fresh juice at café.
