The lines go through real quick at this border crossing. Staff is professional, both US/Can.
WARNING! Be aware you are entering the province, from all the provinces and states in North America, where the taxes are the highest. Enter at your own risk.
If you're going by bus, make sure you keep your passport and ticket with you! They're going to give you a little blue slip of paper, give it back to the officer when you leave.
Be prepared. Have everything ready for the nice guys that can ruin your life in the middle of no where.
US customs often has a long wait so plan accordingly

Aim for the right most booth, (not commercial)
Quit being cheap. Drive a car across. Busses suck
If congestion keep left, then second line from left. Be respectful don't cut in line.
The shortest line is always the longest.
Have all your documents ready
Better to travel at night so that they re only a few people and it goes faster.
Save gas! Going into the US the road has a slight decline so stop the engine and put it into neutral.
Get a Nexus card!
In and out rather quickly if you are on a bus. No soda machines. Don't even ask. They are rude.
Be nice to the custom agents! Get a nexus card if you want to skip the lines.
If you're lucky, you'll get the border agent who looks like a cross between Jennifer Garner and Anne Hathaway. She has an Oprah-esque ability to get you to answer awkward personal questions.
If you're worried about getting asked too many questions, hide in the trunk.
There is a woman that works on the US -> Quebec side who is most gorgeous woman ever. She's one of two woman I would turn straight for. Try to get into her lane!
Feeling the effects of sequestration. A 2 hour wait at border control.
I waited here for 8 hours after being sent back by the Canadian side. The chairs are uncomfortable and there's only power outlets in the bathroom.
Only 2 bottles of wine or hard alcohol allowed into Canada per adult.
Try and get on line with most trailer RVs.
Lane 6 is the fastest
North = poutine. South = McDonalds. Fair trade off, really...
If you're reading this, you should get a Nexus card. Totally worth the $50 for 5 years.
