Chef's breakfast looked promising, but under-delivered. Only thing keeping this place from earning a zero was the Bloody Mary. And to top is all off the waiter was bizarre and increasingly creepy.
Whisky flights. Impeccable Sazerac. Don't sleep on the double cheeseburger!
Drinks were just okay and shrimp and grits leaves something to be desired
The Bloody Mary was great as were the buttermilk pancakes!
I came here on Valentine's Day with my boyfriend and we got the prix fix menu. It was perfect.
Sazerac is perfect. Do it
Now offers delivery
The cocktails were good (Kentucky Royale!), but the food and service left something to be desired, unfortunately. One of my dishes was forgotten altogether and the service was incredibly slow.
Eh. I wasn't impressed with the food nor was my wife. I was expecting a less hippy experience and there was just a lot of beards and jeans and sandals.
Wednesday steak special!
Wednesday night specials
Nice meal, known for meat and whisky
Noreaster and pork nuggets
Best happy hours in cobble hill $1 oysters and $10 great champagne
Try a few types of whiskey while you're here. Trust the bartender's recommendations.
The bacon in the Chef's Breakfast is thick and delicious! The brunch special is only $22 for a drink, app and one of three entrees, diggity dank
Bloody Mary, chefs breakfast, beignets
Quite pricey, but the cheese curds are insanely delicious.
Deviled Eggs and Bacon!
Can't deny that their curated menu is really quite good, but I think they're a bit overpriced. Great whiskey selection though.
Biscuit Benedict w/ lard bread (by lard lad)
On Sunday all the food changes and you cannot lean your head against the mirror without smudging it
The cheeseburger is amazing! A must-have. The lamb pastrami is also incredible.
$1 oysters til 7 during HH, and good whiskey/bourbon selection. Get a whiskey Bloody Mary. Pork nuggets are really good too
Bourbon Bloody Mary
Bourbon Bloody Mary. Believe the hype.
Bourbon menu is great, but do your own homework: waitstaff doesn't tend to be knowledgeable about the list. Also: get anything pork.
The smoked pork nuggets are holy crap amazing. Order them as an appetizer while you wait for your brunch.
Pork. Whiskey. Hipsters.
Louisville sunset- pineapple juice, cranberry, line and bourbon. Also a pic of the ceiling.
The fried pork nuggets, biscuits & gravy & chipotle bourbon bloody are my faves.
This is a fab place to celebrate a birthday. Just ignore your babushka when she says not to order her anything, or else she'll be picking off everyone else's plates the whole time despite her "diet."
Great place to chat with friends. Not annoyingly crowded.
Great who ices in whiskey and check out their event calendar as they have some cool stuff.
Great bourbon list from the same guy that runs Maysville in Manhattan.
It’s also one of our favorite spots for brunch. We love the Crispy Grits & the Biscuit Benedict!
With over 150 bottles, Char No. 4 offers one of the best whiskey selections in town. Don’t miss the Bourbon Bloody Mary or the Smoked Chicken Wings!
The best cheese curds I've ever had outside of Wisconsin.
Must try the BBQ brisket hash with eggs sunny side up 🍳!!
The whole trout on pinenut puree, greens and red onions... WOW!
Poached eggs with cheese grits! AHHHHHH!!!! I've never had anything like it. Spicy, cheese, bacon 👊. Small though, share it with someone getting the pancakes. ;-)
Pulled pork sandwich -> not too sweet, not too messy, not too expensive, perfect. Tastes so good with one of their house aged bourbons cocktails.
Get a Bourbon Bonnet!
