    One of the few places I've eaten regularly at in NY. Get the pork nuggets, beer/burger pairing, shrimp and grits, pimiento cheese. They also have awesome bourbon cocktails and whisky tastings.

    Chef's breakfast looked promising, but under-delivered. Only thing keeping this place from earning a zero was the Bloody Mary. And to top is all off the waiter was bizarre and increasingly creepy.

    The cocktails were good (Kentucky Royale!), but the food and service left something to be desired, unfortunately. One of my dishes was forgotten altogether and the service was incredibly slow.

    Brunch is perfect here. Get the pork nuggets, buttermilk biscuit, brisket BBQ, and pulled pork and crispy grits. I didn't even need to add salt to anything.

    Char No. 4 has real maple syrup and they cherish it just as much as you should -- they'll give you a tiny dish upon request. That said, their amazingly fluffy pancakes barely need syrup.
