Easy to navigate this airport! SW check in & through security in 10 min. That being said had the nice family of six not let me ahead it could have taken awhile as I only saw one security line.

With the renovations its a good idea to arrive early. There is one entrance to the gates and one exit. If you are picking up, you can wait right at the exit or baggage claim.

The best airport in the best city in America. Layover? Grab a cab downtown and hit up the Belmont for some cocktails. Don't expect to spend a lot of time hanging out at the terminal, there is nothing

Do whatever you can to avoid checking a bag flying in to Charleston. Baggage claim takes ages. Every time. Even though you flew in on a tiny plane and baggage claim is 100 feet from the gates.

Security wasn't bad. At least compared to the NYC airports I'm used to. If you get to the airport an hour before takeoff and you've printed your tickets in advance you should be fine.

Bizarre pizza place has no slices-you have to order a whole pizza. Tip-meatball side-3 decent sized meatballs, really good sauce, and a breadstick is best bet.

They have changed things around in Terminal A. You can no longer sit in the rockers in front of the window. Yes, folks, they have found a way to make this airport even shittier.
