Welcome to the Official MLB Foursquare Page!
Formerly known as Bank One Ballpark, Chase Field is a 49,000 seat natural turf baseball stadium. Home of the MLB Arizona Diamondbacks and host to several other events in the off-season.
Who splashed the first-ever home run in the pool? None other than D-backs legend Mark Grace on 5/12/98. BUT, he hit it as a member of the Chicago Cubs.
It costs just $2 worth of electricity to open or close the 9-million pound roof at Chase Field.
Home of the 2011 All Star Game! Stop by the Pepsi MAX Field of Dreams at Fan Fest and keep an eye out for Summertime Santa in the pool.
Sure, we've all been at a ball game, and thought "Man, I wish I was sitting in a pool." You can actually do that here. For $3,500 or so, rent the pool in the outfield for up to 35 people.
Did you know that Chase Field was the first stadium built in the United States with a retractable roof?
Arrive early and check out batting practice. Best deal on beer are the aisle vendors. any seat is great, but the outfield bleachers dont have a view of the jumbotron, so if that is important, consider
This is the only stadium with a swimming pool, but you can’t take a dip unless you're a VIP or a baseball. #DontBlowIt
Get a hot dog and beer at the Diamondbacks game
Tickets here are fairly inexpensive. If you're buying walk up tickets, spring for the good seats.
You can check if the roof will be open or closed for a specific game day by calling the “roof forecast” hotline @ 602-379-ROOF! That's COOL! (pun intended)
Get wasted before you come into the ballpark. I recommend Sliders, Coach & Willie's, or Cooperstown.
Always a good time! Yay Diamondbacks!
Bring sunscreen when the roof's open! Burning right now. :-(
If you love baseball, this is the place to be! PLAY BALL!
Bring your ticket stub to Half Moon Sports Grill after the game for 1/2 price burgers!
Best place to watch a baseball game.
Best place to be to cheer on the DBacks!
Look up. That roof can be opened or closed to drop temperatures by 30°C. Alternatively you can cool off in the corner pool. That’s where home runs sometimes splash down.
Prince Fielder won the Ted Williams Most Valuable Player Award (presented by Chevrolet) at the 2011 All-Star Game at Chase Field. #ChevyMLB #2011
The pork mini chimis at Macayos are quite tasty.
Take the stadium tour for $6.
Get club level seats to a Dbacks game, arrive early, and secure a table facing the field at the 3rd base line bar. Great view at a discount!
Take the light rail to avoid the parking nightmare.
Try an Arizona burger at Gordan Biersch!
No place better!
You can now upgrade your seats at all Diamondbacks home games! Download the MLB at the Ballpark app to upgrade: http://mlb.mlb.com/ticketing/upgrades.jsp?c_id=ari
MUSTARD ALWAYS WINS! And it angers me...
The ballpark food at Chase is among the worst I've ever had (especially the footlong specialty dogs on the third base side). Hit up Sliders or another local place before the game instead.
If you are not drinking, sign up as a designated driver and get a FREE soft drink.
Find Sam Adams on tap. You may have to go to the suite level or under home plate, but the Boston Lager here is always ridiculously fresh. As good as the Boston Brewery!
Go Cubbies go!
This ballpark is really awesome. The pool is really fun to see when you're watching a game live. It gives a good taste of AZ!
I lusted it here. The stadium was cool but not warm on a HOT day. The people were awesome. The prices wonderfully LOW. And We got great seats.
LOVE their Value Menu (can't beat $1.50 hot dogs and corn dogs!)
Be sure to pre-game at Macayo's Depot on Mill Ave for the cheapest drinks then take the light rail to the game
