Simply amazing sandwiches, matched by friendly, cheerful service. Standout beef-horseradish and po'boy
The chicken sandwich is mind blowing!
BEST Oyster and shrimp Po'boy. Their excellent beignets pair well with the Cafe du Monde coffee that they serve. Don't leave without having beignets!
Get the chicken sandwich! The service is great and they give you free beignets. All credit cards accepted.
Cheap sandwiches, but a little soggy :(
*gazes fondly at old pics of chicken and biscuit sandwich while hungry at 3 am*
The chicken biscuit is reminiscent of a thanksgiving sandwich. Shrimp po boy may be the menu's weakness
Oyster Po’ Boy: $8.50 / Chicken Biscuit: $6.50
Bomb sandwiches. Chicken is awesome.
Chicken sandwich on a biscuit.
Delicious veggie sandwich!
Don't be afraid to get two sandwiches if your first time. I recommend a pork and a beef. Best sandwich place in nyc.
You can't go wrong with the fried chicken on buttermilk biscuit. The gravy is hot as lava but so delicious. Save room for beignets!
You must get the chicken biscuit!
Low key but super delicious. The beef sandwich is made with homemade horseradish, and it's bloody delicious.
The po'boys here still haunt my dreams.
Look at that sandwich. Tender. Juicy. Amazing.
Chicken biscuit is the best thing on planet earth!! Must eat before you die!!
Chicken biscuit and beignet 👌
If you don't eat meat, the grass sandwich is great! Tough to beat (pun originally not unintended) the goat cheese/beet combo.
Chicken sandwich, savory biscuit, fried chicken, gravy and red cabbage coleslaw. Just right.
Staff is superbly friendly. They give away free beignets from time to time to their customers. The beignets are amazing and cheap, chicory coffee is great, and their sandwiches even better.
Chicken is the best
Plus one for the fried chicken sandwich.
Chicken sandwich is very tasty and very filling.
Chicken sandwich is GREAT!
Oyster po' boys are beautiful!
It's ok. Nice little sandwich place. The food isn't amazing but it's not bad either.
Braised short rib with horseradish on toasted challah. Fried chicken on a buttermilk biscuit with coleslaw and gravy. A veggie muffuletta. This is not your average Boar’s Head–on–rye deli counter.
Unbelievable chicken sandwiches and beignets
They get their bread for the po boys from a bakery in NOLA!
Most genuinely helpful service I've had in Manhattan and hands down, the best biscuits. Weirdly, the bathroom has a rustic, mountain outhouse feel to it (minus a water pump).
One of the best places on earth. The vibe is the definition of cool but without any pretentiousness. The charm is simplicity, offering 4-5 sandwiches that they absolutely knock out of the park.
Get voodoo chips and a chicken sandwich. Tell all your friends and tip well! It's a tiny kitchen. Then grab a pint at Top Hops nearby
The veggie sandwich is really lame. Vinegar from the pickled vegetables dominates everything else, and by the time I walked 2 blocks the bread was totally soggy
You cant come here for just one sandwich. Try them all.
Not much on the menu, but focused and executed well...enjoyed the Pork and Beef
The fried chicken sandwich on a biscuit is one of my favorite sandwiches of all time!!
The chicken biscuit is so good I had it two weekends in a row. Best biscuit in nyc.
This is the most legit chicken biscuit I have ever had.
Get the shrimp po boy, has a nice kick to it. Definitely enjoyed it more than the chicken biscuit. Super friendly staff!
What a great addition to the neighborhood that we needed! New favorite lunch place. Fantastic casual atmosphere and southern ambience. The Veggie was amazing!
Beef sammich and beignets!!!
If you want to know what a chicks biscuit is supposed to taste like, look no further than this little place tucked away in LES.
The bathroom here is weird as hell, old outhouse in the country style. Clean, though.
get the chicken biscuit and ben-yays
