BEST Oyster and shrimp Po'boy. Their excellent beignets pair well with the Cafe du Monde coffee that they serve. Don't leave without having beignets!

  • Kate Y.

Get the chicken sandwich! The service is great and they give you free beignets. All credit cards accepted.

The chicken biscuit is reminiscent of a thanksgiving sandwich. Shrimp po boy may be the menu's weakness

Don't be afraid to get two sandwiches if your first time. I recommend a pork and a beef. Best sandwich place in nyc.

You can't go wrong with the fried chicken on buttermilk biscuit. The gravy is hot as lava but so delicious. Save room for beignets!

    Clay Nielsen · November 29, 2014
  • Thrillist

The chicken biscuit, topped with gravy, is unmatched, the oyster (or shrimp) po’ boy is an excellent and classic option, and don’t skip the horseradish-spiked beef sandwich, either. Read more

Low key but super delicious. The beef sandwich is made with homemade horseradish, and it's bloody delicious.

If you don't eat meat, the grass sandwich is great! Tough to beat (pun originally not unintended) the goat cheese/beet combo.

Chicken sandwich, savory biscuit, fried chicken, gravy and red cabbage coleslaw. Just right.

Staff is superbly friendly. They give away free beignets from time to time to their customers. The beignets are amazing and cheap, chicory coffee is great, and their sandwiches even better.

It's ok. Nice little sandwich place. The food isn't amazing but it's not bad either.

Braised short rib with horseradish on toasted challah. Fried chicken on a buttermilk biscuit with coleslaw and gravy. A veggie muffuletta. This is not your average Boar’s Head–on–rye deli counter.

    Unbelievable chicken sandwiches and beignets

    Katie Davis · August 22, 2014

Most genuinely helpful service I've had in Manhattan and hands down, the best biscuits. Weirdly, the bathroom has a rustic, mountain outhouse feel to it (minus a water pump).

One of the best places on earth. The vibe is the definition of cool but without any pretentiousness. The charm is simplicity, offering 4-5 sandwiches that they absolutely knock out of the park.

    Ryan Ambs · August 11, 2014

Get voodoo chips and a chicken sandwich. Tell all your friends and tip well! It's a tiny kitchen. Then grab a pint at Top Hops nearby

    Christina Troitino · August 11, 2014

The veggie sandwich is really lame. Vinegar from the pickled vegetables dominates everything else, and by the time I walked 2 blocks the bread was totally soggy
