Do not go on a Saturday. Way too many people, and it's hard to actually get information on things you are seriously interested in.
Park in the underground lot and leave your coats in the car!
Avoid the long ticket line and buy your tickets ahead of time online.
Come early. It was open for only an hour when I arrived and there was room to sprint. An hour later, I could hardly power walk to get where I needed to go.
Get your coffee from outside. The queue at Starbucks is sooo big.
Booths were pleasant. Clean for the most part except when kids left food and wrapper in the cars.
Buy your tickets AHEAD of time!!
Stop reading Foursquare and watch where you're walking.

The Metra Electric literally drops you off at the door and in an enclosed area.
Kinda disappointed. Seems the show was bigger and grander back in the 90s. Still decent but many of the same things will appear at my local show in Denver.

If you want to save some cash avoid the parking garage. There is usually parking from 26th & King Drive on down to the McDonalds.
