People tend to check in during these times:
The best way to see the city skyline. Run, walk or bike along this 18-mile trail along Lake Michigan in the summer, spring, fall and winter (if you can brave those Chicago temperatures).
Water clears your mind, body and soul
arguably the best part about living in Chicago. biking along the lake keeps me sane.
Jog going south if you like seeing shirtless, hot bods.
go early or go late to avoid serious congestion
Run in the mornings before bike commuters flood the trail, but smile at them - it's a place for everyone!
A great path to jog or bike. Some bikers ride very fast on this path so be aware of the people around you.
Keep in mind to never run more than two people wide, and if you are on a bike, SLOW DOWN around crowds and shout "left" while passing pedestrians on the left hand side.
Most days between Fullerton and North Ave this place is a zoo.
Beautiful views. Nothing better for a run.
You will most certainly be using this path on 9/10/11 if you're participating in @dtdash!
Make sure to get horseshoes that can handle the ice.
Much better at night; less traffic on the path.
The best, hottest, and most grueling training runs while enjoying the scenic beauty of the lakefront in the summer.
Early mornings before 6 are the most ideal...
It's cold as hell outside right now.
Run for Hamburgers!!
Walk from Museum campus to Navy Pier.
I often take this path, don't be surprised if you see me here... And I'll probably try to talk to you. Let's not make it awkward
Be careful of birds hiding in the bushes, they will attack your head!
Watch out for flying douchebags in tanktops and aerobars.
While the beaches close at 11p the lake shore path is open all night to people looking to bike, run, or walk... It's a great place to spend time on a beautiful night!
What a beautiful day !!
Best view of the city skyline - riding north up the bike path, rounding the corner and BAM!
Make sure to join the scores of people on the miles of trail along Lake Shore Drive to run, walk, bike or roller blade. Make sure to always have your camera ready.
Watch out for dogs n shit...
Bring a windbreaker. The wind is whipping!
Say hi to Spencer at the Boucher bros chairs!
Nice and windy
if u r not a dog person watch for unleashed jogger dogs...most really well trained and friendly
lovely walk to the pier and back. good picnic area adjacent to beach.
No mile markers from 2.5 to 6!
Don't be creepin...
There's a long pier that stretches well into the lake, near Montrose Point Bird Sanctuary --- bike along the shore and you'll see it.
Favorite place to run!
My favorite stretch is from Ohio Street Beach to North Avenue Beach.
The perfect skater's path. 17 miles of paved awesomeness with epic sights at every turn. Sure, a few rough spots (Mile 11-12 etc) and some crowding, but overall a fantastic workout. 9.99/10
Don't forget your sunscreen!
First time checking in? I hope you enjoyed the Lake! My gosh people act like it never exist.
Watch out for duck poop
Watch out for flying squirrels
Stay on your right side on the trails. Pass carefully on the left.
Perfect for running because there are no stop lights and pedestrians crowding the sidewalks.
Great views and friendly folks who are exercising - non stop people moving and magnificent water sounds of Lake Michigan here we come!
Take time to slow down and look around you because few people have the privilege to have the view of the Lake and the City in such grandeur. Also, don't be an ass and smoke by runners and bikers.
Beautiful spot for a morning run
