People tend to check in during these times:
Good way to see the Chicago skyline. Beautiful in the morning and night.
The view is awesome.
Amazing views of the city skyline. But be careful, no railing! Have proper running shoes bc the waves from jet skiers do crash against the trail and make it slippery😬
I love this place! It has a great scenic view of Chicago!
Beautiful trail. Stay to the side or you'll get run over by angry bikers!
It's a real beauty!
Go take a hike. On the lake front trail that is. Just stay to the right so faster moving bikes and people can easily pass. Take a break and sit by the lake.
It's #LITERALLY in my top 5 reasons to live in Chicago.
Go for a run and get hot. Then jump in the water to instantly cool off (and I do mean instantly).
Don't get run over by bikers. I love them to death, but you're not the only one using the trail. I suggest walking along here for some sun or fresh air or the view.
One of the best things about Chicago.
Park at Montrose and bike along the lakefront past McCormick Place. Best early morning-gets crowded after 10 on weekends.
One of my favorite places in the city. Lots of good scenery (nature and people alike)
Of course you don't have to worry about being distracted in the winter unless you find snow sexy. lol
If you are a guy, the hot, bikini clad women from Oak St. to Fullerton Ave. will distract you. Be careful!!!
College Kids: Don't gain the Freshman 15 and take advantage of this gorgeous Lakefront Trail. Walk, run, or bike alone or with friends. Bonus: jump in the water afterwards!
Be careful when crossing the path at Montrose, Wilson and Lawrence. Bikes have the right of way, but a lot of cars don't see it that way!
There's a long pier that stretches well into the lake, near Montrose Point Bird Sanctuary --- bike along the shore and you'll see it.
Favorite place to run!
I often take this path, don't be surprised if you see me here... And I'll probably try to talk to you. Let's not make it awkward
My favorite stretch is from Ohio Street Beach to North Avenue Beach.
Much better at night; less traffic on the path.
The perfect skater's path. 17 miles of paved awesomeness with epic sights at every turn. Sure, a few rough spots (Mile 11-12 etc) and some crowding, but overall a fantastic workout. 9.99/10
Be careful of birds hiding in the bushes, they will attack your head!
Watch out for bikers. And walkers that take up the path.
Don't forget your sunscreen!
First time checking in? I hope you enjoyed the Lake! My gosh people act like it never exist.
Watch out for duck poop
Watch out for flying douchebags in tanktops and aerobars.
Watch out for flying squirrels
Stay on your right side on the trails. Pass carefully on the left.
Run in the mornings before bike commuters flood the trail, but smile at them - it's a place for everyone!
Perfect for running because there are no stop lights and pedestrians crowding the sidewalks.
Great views and friendly folks who are exercising - non stop people moving and magnificent water sounds of Lake Michigan here we come!
The best, hottest, and most grueling training runs while enjoying the scenic beauty of the lakefront in the summer.
Take time to slow down and look around you because few people have the privilege to have the view of the Lake and the City in such grandeur. Also, don't be an ass and smoke by runners and bikers.
Beautiful spot for a morning run
relax alil enjoy life
While the beaches close at 11p the lake shore path is open all night to people looking to bike, run, or walk... It's a great place to spend time on a beautiful night!
What a beautiful day !!
Great way to relieve stress and unwind!
Best view of the city skyline - riding north up the bike path, rounding the corner and BAM!
