I really do prefer flying into O'Hare.
Give yourself extra time for an early flight. TSA system is odd. One lane through for everyone
Admittedly it's not the best airport, but it does get you to Kanye's city.
The people are friendly
Free wifi and plenty of comfy leather seats. Clean and hassle free airport.
Only 20 minutes of free wi-fi. Lot's of people. Short runways.
Nice airport, not much in A terminal though
Gah, I sat on a slimy piece of green pepper. Unacceptable. Get it together midway.
(The other airport)
Not much to see or do at this airport. If it wasn't for Southwest I would have gone to Ohare.
"Caution: The moving walkway is ending. Caution: The moving walkway is ending. Caution: The moving walkway is ending." Try not to wait near gate A1.
The coffee and espresso drinks at Let Them Eat Cake is terrible. Apparently Potbelly has Starbucks for your coffee needs
No free wifi- The free Boingo option doesn't work
Lots of outlets. Nuts on Clark is a must!
Easy breezy security check point. Hassel free indeed!
Gold Coast dogs. Chicago style. Yummy
Let Them Eat Cake is a trap: exorbitant prices for bad food.
I fly out of Midway over O'Hare every chance I get.
Excellent parking options for every traveler, from budget to valet.
I guess if you have to go through an airport in Chicago this is the one!
Really quick security, very few good options in concourse A.
So much easier to get in and out of than o'hare
Not bad. But if you have the choice go to O'Hare
Easy to get around
Do Midway... Any day over O'Hare.
If you have time and not too much baggage, walk from the parking garage to the terminal. Awesome view of takeoffs and landings.
Security is hit or miss
Much better than O'Hare
Better than O'Hare, but not much.
TSA Precheck is great
Before 5 AM, your food choices are Potbelly, McDonald's, and Let Them Eat Cake
Bring a snack and a drink while you wait for your checked bags.
So much easier than O'Hare.
I use southwest airlines, no money for suitcases. Can take paratransit bus to Mom's.
If your flight leaves from gate A4A... don't be late because it is a journey to get to from TSA.
Checking into security was a breeze and I got to keep my leftover Giordano's pizza. Need a charge? They've got plugin spots.
Great coffee is available at Pot Belly.
If flying SWA, get there early. TSA moves fairly quick unless you have something to be inspected. Uh oh...
They do a decent job of getting jets in & out of this neighborhood. Reminds me of an airport.
TSA must have a roulette wheel wheel they spin to determine how the security checkpoints are going to be laid out that day. I travel on average once a month and the variance is significant.
Another delay brought to you by Southwest...
Ifs a busy place 24/7
Appreciative of those who move on the moving walkways
So much better than O'Hare
TSA PreCheck closes at 8pm. Why??? We pay for this "service". There are 25 or so departures after 8 pm.
Food options not so great in B terminal.
Roughest landing at an airport in the Midwest because the runways are so short. Good thing delays are minimal
