This ritzy East Village dumpling palace spotlights Hong Kong native Joe Ng’s riffs on Chinese classics. The extravagant Asian-inflected design is a jaw-dropping chinoiserie dream complete with a lily pad–laden koi pond, a chic alternative to the City’s normally bare-bones dim sum parlors.

Yummy green beans.
Great dim sum, esp. lobster cream cheese rolls, duck spring rolls, & shanghai soup dumplings. Crispy orange beef is the only worthy entree. Custard bao = delish. Book on savored.com for 30% off.
General Tso's Chicken is hands down the best!
Curry bass and avocado tarts changed my life. Also, off the menu, crispy tofu in red bean sauce. Yummmm

Place is empty on a Tuesday. Took 10 mins to be seated.
Try the lamb dumplings... Amazing!!!
So sad that they ran out of peking duck :(
I love almost all the food here but especially the moo shu pork with egg omelet. The room behind the bar is great for a private party for special occasions. Excellent food and relatively affordable.
faves include the shrimp/snow pea leaf and lamb dumplings. your meal should definitely more lean towards dim sum than entrees, though the coconut curry shrimp is fab...
The shrimp and pork dumplings were 415-worthy
Wow! The egg rolls were stellar. There are no words! Dim sum is delicious and reasonably priced.
The soup dumplings are amazing
Skip the main courses and go all dim sum. Soup dumplings and the classic egg roll are my faves.
Tear this place down
