East ocean has good yum Cha but the service is really crap you have to ask them at least 3 times for a pair of chop sticks and for a drink .

dixon street has a lot of the cheapest and yet biggest range of asian eats, a bit dirty looking but if your after cheap this is the place to be, eating world and dixon food court
Check out the Chinese youth league social club on 10 dixon street during jan/feb. they practice dragon, lion and cultural dance for chinese new year from around 6pm onwards most days
Get the fresh emperor's puffs. Yummy gooey custard. You will love it!
Emperors puff is amazing! Tasty and cheap! 4 cream puffs for $1!
For halal food, there's an underground foodcourt (dixon foodcourt) with halal indonesian stalls.
Get the pork chops with fried rice at Ma's Kitchen in the food court. Yummy!!

Also home to Sydney's best food court (Dixon House Food Court) and BBQ pork buns (St Honore Cake Shop)
You can funnel with the crowds to the "hot spots" and fight for a table OR try restaurants like Delima (Indonesian) China Noodle Restaurant (handmade noodles) and Wagaya (Japanese) for awesome noms
go around saying "oh my god its Jackie Chan!" the locals love it.
