One of the best hidden gems in town. The Special Braised Eggplant is unbelievable, even if you don't like eggplant. Pork and Chive dumplings are superb, and the meals are unreal cheap. Never skip it!

Place is delicious. Get the soupy pork buns but if you can control yourself, wait a few minutes before popping these ridiculously tasty treats into your mouth - they are super temp hot. No beer.

The knife sliced fried noodles or the fried noodles are delicious! The pork & chives dumplings steamed are great too! Best part is you can order 1/2 serves of the dumplings for $4.50!

A little miffed that Chinese Noodle Restaurant has been merged with this location on fsq as they are two separate establishments.

Let's be clear: you want to visit Chinese Noodle Restaurant, not Chinese Noodle House. It's rumoured that they're owned by the same family - but CNR is the superior establishment of the two.

Yes there's a queue (moves quick), service is abrupt & the decor tragic, but it's all worth it for the handmade combo noodles and terrific pork dumplings. Expect your food, & the bill, to come quickly
