    The details inside the lobby are fantastic. Make sure you get inside to see them. Don't mind the people that work here, they don't get the beauty or the importance of the building.

    It really is sad there is no observation deck in the building. I feel sad for the tourists when they bounce in the lobby and realize that's all they'll get to see.

    Despite housing the Chrysler headquarters for 20 years, the company never owned the building. Rather, Walter Chrysler paid for the construction privately to insure its inheritance by his family.

    If you'd really like to see what the view looks like from the top, make an appt with one of the dentists on the top floors. Get a cleaning and enjoy the view.

    There is no observation deck or any formal tour. It's best for tourists to run in and take a quick pick of the ceiling and run out so as not to annoy those of us who work here.
