Chukka Ramen is the brainchild of three ramen geeks with chops from the trenches of modern Japanese cuisine. Chuko means "vintage" in Japanese, describing the appreciation of careful selection and innovating with both traditional and novel ingredients.
Start with the brussel sprouts. No reservations accepted, cash only.
TimeOut #10 Ramen; "a gorgeous soft egg that spills its yolk into a complex and buttery miso broth; fat, springy noodles bobbing in the comforting soy broth"
High quality Asian cuisine for a very reasonable price. Great for a lunch. Ramens are just amazing.
How can these Brussels sprouts taste this good omg.
All their ramens are absolutely fantastic, but if the special is mentaiko mazemen definitely give it a try.
The market veggie ramen might be the best vegetarian ramen in the whole city.
Ramen and dumplings
Vegan ramen no longer available. 💔
Kimchi Ramen is mind-blowing my good. The broth is deep and the noodles are perfectly chewy. Break yourself from tonkotsu-style broths and try this.
Kimchi ramen is excellent. Brussels with fish sauce is also an excellent choice.
The kimchi ramen with pork. Get it now.
Amazing veggie ramen. Like, "two nights in a row" good.
Chuko! Always good, always a wait. Go to Bar Chuko across the street and sate yourself with some wings, okonomiyaki, and chuhai before dunking yourself in glorious ramen broth.
Cash Only! But they have an ATM :)
The brussel sprouts are Bomb! Veggie Ramen with kimchi on the side #yum
Great Ramen place in Brooklyn. Get the Brussels Sprouts appetizer!
Swap all that bullshit thin noodle for the thick and wavy yellow noodles. ATM in the back ($2+ fee). Lots of San pellegrino here. Brussels sprouts and mazemen
Vegetarian ramen is great
Get the vegetarian ramen. This is the best ramen they sell and frankly it's all they really need to sell.
The pork bone ramen is meh. The miso is a better option. Not worth the long wait for sure. 🍜
Miso ramen with ground pork. The best. The corn is so fresh and subtle sweet contrasts with the spice. Always add the little chili garlic sauce they give! Perfection.
Solid kimchi ramen. There's also a cold noodle special as well that I would try next time I go back!
Get one of the specials!
i think the food is borderline awful. I almost can't believe how much ppl like this place. Everything is too salty, greasy and the ramen.. I mean the ramen is just absolutely awful. Try okonomi
Only Vegi ramen is good
Kimchi ramen! Perfection.
The Kimchi Ramen was mindbendingly good. Paired with a crisp Sapporo, it doesn't get any better.
Kimchi ramen is fire
Juicy chicken wings and chicken miso with corn 👌
The kale salad is now one of my top fave dishes in all of New York. I was talking sh*t at first, thinking it would be a waste of space, and then I proceeded to eat my words...and the best salad ever!!
Veggie ramyun and kimchi is the best!
Veggie and kimchi ramyun 🍜
The creamy corn ramen did disappoint but the chicken wings were yummy and the service is great.
Try their vegetarian ramen. it is delicious
Best Brussels sprouts in Brooklyn.
I hate kale but I will gladly come back here for their kale salad alone. It's that good. The ramen was pretty good here too. Going solo, was able to snag a seat at bar right away
Pork bone ramen is delicious
Kale salad was delicious, the miso ramen was buttery and heavenly, and the pork ramen is super delicious! One of my top favorite ramen places!
Delicious! Order the pork bone ramen ! And don't forget to get the child garlic sauce! No wifi and waiters are a bit rude... But the food is delicious
best ramen in brooklyn hands down. Brussels sprouts are also a must have.
The kale salad is really great. Kimchi ramen is solid too.
Get the Brussels sprouts. There's a reason every tip suggests it.
The vegetarian miso is the bomb.com. Along with the kale salad. But if you have extra tummy room also go with the mazemen. Oh me gah.
Susan is the best!
Kimchi Ramen will shake your world to its very foundation
The veggie ramen houses springy noodles & flavorful miso with briny seaweed, sweet acorn squash, cabbage, bamboo shoots, green onion, & egg. It's just as satiating as one of the meatier counterparts.
