Many HALAL food available in Indian & Chinese cuisine style. NOT the best place in Tsim Sha Sui area, not only many cheap goods available here but also excellent rate of money changer #Traveling #HK

Diverse and culturally interesting to Hong Kong. Read about it on Wikipedia and be prepared before checking it out.

Zillions of money changers. Ignore those at the main entrance. Penetrate deeper and find the most competitive rates in HK

First floor just looks scary, but really nothing bad can happen. Hostels are nice, I enjoyed DNHostel Block D, 10th floor. You can get a price 120 HKD per night.

I agree its little India of Hongkong. The room is tidy though small. I felt like I was cheated when they charged us cash upfront for the stay instead of my credit card.

Also part of Wong Kar-Wai's Chungking Express. A wild mix of multicultural shops and restaurants inside 5 building blocks. Sometimes compared to Kowloon Walled City.

Many Indian Mamak restaurants, may be creepy at first but once you get used it's fine. try to book hostels that are at lower floor so that you can take the stairs and save your time to queue

Two popular options here are Maple Leaf (block E, 12th floor) and Apple Hostel (block B, 10th floor). Both are very clean (never seen a single bug!) and run by friendly owners.

Cultural melting pot! Take note though: If you take a flyer from one of the dudes outside, be prepared to be stampeded on by 20 others (this is coming from a well seasoned Chungking diner, haha)

Fancy place to rent a room. Very cheap, dirty and crowded. But anyway worth to have a look. Blocks D7&D8 are better in my opinion in terms of lifts.

To avoid the throng at the main entrance of Chung King Mansions, go down the alley to the left of the main entrance, then turn right to enter CKM.

Awesome place for cheap accommodation! Don't be afraid, it's generally cheap, safe and fairly clean. Prices around 250-350 HKD per person per night.

If you want a cheap and clean room, go to Pay-less guest house (Block A). 200HKD only good for two persons. But if you want to watch the the view of Nathan Road, then get the 350HKD, 6th floor.

To avoid being fooled take time to check you are at the correct block, e.g. Block A and the read the floor directory to double check. If still in doubt ask a uniformed security guard for directions.
