See the Museum and make sure you stay for a Race! It's one of those experiences you won't forget to be at such an old and historical sight! Secretariat was there! Barbaro! So many names!

A must see place while in Louisville! You get to interact with the horses and the jockeys! There is an amazing breakfast buffet in the club. And of course tons of hats to try on!

14 $ is a bit steep but it is interesting learning about the history. If you go once every 10-15 years then it's worth it. Great for young kids.

Derbyyyyyyyyyy. Bring food in plastic wrap and clear bags. Buy chairs to be used for Oaks and Derb instead of 100s for bench seats.

Mint juleps are an absolute must. The "most exciting two minutes in sports" is best enjoyed with one [or two] of these in hand, right in the center of all the action; the infield.

Make sure you use the betting app. Makes for a much more enjoyable experience. Just don't ask the paramutual clerks about the app. They hate it because "it is taking their jobs."

NO Credit cards in the paddock or infield. I wasn't in the clubhouse but from what I saw no credit cards for betting or food/drink. There are ATM's so make sure you at least have your debit card.
