Churchill's has pretty much stayed the same for 30 years while fancier newcomers have come and tanked. Why? magic formula of success: a strict commitment to live music + cheap drinks.
Churchill's was a fairly small pub that expanded to include a stage and dance floor, billiards, arcades, a full bar, an outside bar and patio, and even a laundry room for clients!
6 Nations Rugby Championship will be shown here on request. Rugby and soccer can be found on their TVs and live music on their stage.
This pub has a weekly jazz night and a pretty great curry to eat. But it's also hosted just about every great local punk, rock, hardcore, and metal band in the history of live Miami music
Avoid the crackheads.
pay the crackheads to park and then go in and have a stella.
The definition of a dive bar. If you are into rock bands, cheap beer and a little bit of danger, this is the place for you.
Tip your bartenders.
Come in for a pint during the day on weekends & watch football (soccer), rugby, and/or cricket!
Check out the events hosted by Dangerfun, especially the "tribute" nights. They're an underground phenomenon!
Try not to use the bathroom ladies.
Food's pretty good, given the venue
Monday is Jazz night. Best Jazz in town for a town that has the cultural backbone of a mollusk.
I forgot how much this place just sucks. It's gross inside, the bathrooms are disgusting, the sound system sucks, the location sucks, the parking sucks, the crackheads outside asking for money suck.
A right of passage for anyone in the South Florida Music Scene : If you're in a band & haven't been, or tried to play here, then you're really not taking things seriously.
Live shows every single night! The sound is great, and the place is historical. Great place to perform! And they have amazing fries. Not a place to come if you're sick or getting sick though!
Sit back, relax, and enjoy the show.
Catch some of the best hardcore live bands any day during the week at Churchill's Pub. Brought to you by THE EXPENDABLES opening August 13!
Monday night Jazz. Not to be missed.
Great live Jazz on Monday nights
Enjoyable place, though the cigarette smoke can be pervasive.
Have good shows sometimes and good drink specials. Be nice to the crackheads.
Best chicken tenders and cheap pitchers. Awesome owner and great bartenders. It's hard not to become a regular here
This is where Marilyn Manson (& The Spooky Kids) played their first ever gig. Fact.
Don't pay the crackheads unless they're in the official parking lot, just walk on. Bartenders can ignore you sometimes just get their attention, tip well and be friendly
It's like a little slice of Gainesville in Miami...
The place's a bit of a dive, but the music keeps packing in the people. The cheap drinks don't hurt, either. Order PBR, in a can. Tall boys if they have them.
Live shows. Good prices on beer. A lot of energy
The customers are racist. The bartenders can't make a cocktail. The food made me sick. The building is falling apart.
cheapest drinks in miami. shitty bands. best people. 2-4-1 drinks
Monday night jazz
Finally found the grungy non silicone corner of Miami
You can't go wrong if it's this guy's favorite venue.
I was bored here. Not really thinking of going back.
If you have sensitive lungs or don't like smokers or like me who just quit this place isn't going to be easy. The staff is nice, everything cheap and the atmosphere & music is great, so it's worth it.
great shows and great people
This place is a cesspit! Nothing English about it at all. In fact it's a disgrace to the name Churchill. If vomit were a drink they would probably sell it here. Trashy place and trashy clientele.
Me gustó mucho, no amontonamientos y sí buen rock. Hitchens! I love that band!
