AVX are amazing! And taking a time to feel like you were there a few years ago for watching a mach of hockey!
Rustic place, was once a hockey stadium that became a rustic and cozy cinema. It worth to visit if you are visiting Montreal, the cinema rooms are stadium which leaves comfortable.
Go to the bars and pool table on top fourth floor. Great spot to hang.
Make sure you know which floor your theatre is on to avoid a big detour.

An iconic building , the former home of Canadians
No scanners at the kiosks here, and at least one ticketing booth could not scan the Scene bar code on the BB-Z30. Bring your plastic.

Best movie theater of Montreal.
Not ashamed to see "Shame" I like partial nudity.
J.H.C!! 27$ for 2 movie tickets + 4,84$ for a pack of M&M + small screen. No wonder people stay home in front of a 50 inch plasma.
Try to go for the last shows, they are usually almost empty and you can get amazing sits!!!
Go to the pool hall, its always empty. $12 an hour, but between multiple people its nothing.
The former home of our beloved Montréal Canadiens, and site of many legendary hockey games. Today, it’s a movie theatre, but echoes of our mighty “Habs” remain.
Go get snacks at the IGA at Place Alexis Nihon: there's a candy machine!
Only $6 per ticket for the movies before noon (fri - sun)
Take a look around the hallowed forum and enjoy a flick. Also head to the 2nd level for the display cases and learn of history of this great building.

The seats have removable arms. Snuggle and makeout while you watch a lot of indie flicks.
