Beware the hungry seagulls
Beautiful ferry trip, can see Syd harbour bridge and Opera house on way
Don't bother with the"express ferry" BS to Manly. It's only a handful of minutes shorter and twice the price.
Main ferry terminal close to Sydney CBD. The ferry to Manly is a very scenic ride and leaves every half an hour. Great photo opportunity of the harbour bridge and opera house.
I only had a couple hours to see Sydney. I took the ferry to Manly, walked around, had lunch, checked out a great pub, and returned all in about 3-4 hours, for under $60 total. Great!!
Best sushi I've very had. And in a ferry terminal of all places. Huge nori rolls and excellent prices
Get an opal card and skip the queue
Getting a ferry and back to the zoo gives you great views of the bridge and the opera house, and make sure you get the zoo and ferry tickets combined for a good discount
If you are in Sydney for a week you might want to grab a yellow multi ticket 1. It'll get you Manly, Bondi, the zoo and all other important places. Also busses are included. Costs 44 $
What a place to be for sunrise!
Must take the ferry, excellent views from the water of the opera house and the harbor bridge
Vivid Sydney thru June 11th makes the quay a must see
It's like Hong Kong bur not quite, beautiful to watch sunset from!

You've heard of the Quay D'Orsay in Paris - this is an almost circular quay, thus it's name.
The best view is at the top using a lift right at the eastern end! There's a Geocache there too.
You simply MUST try the ferries. Divine!
Come to stand A for an awesome bus experience.
Don't even think about paying for a cruise of the harbour, jump on a ferry for a tenth of the price and get out onto this beautiful harbour. The Mosman Bay or Rose Bay services are great!
Walk from the Opera House all the way around to under the Harbour Bridge. It is a lovely walk and there are always great street performers on the way. You don’t have to tip, but it is polite to do so!
Take a ferry ride from here! The ferry ride from Circular Quay across Sydney Harbour to Manly and back again is only $6.60 (this is called MyFerry2).
Take the lifts at the east end near Wharf 2, where you can go up to the Cahill Walk and enjoy the most spectacular view of the Quay, Harbor Bridge and surrounds. Specially good at sunset.
get the weekly ticket, unlimited rides
Best place to see the city from. Grab a ferry to anywhere and go for a site seeing ride

One of the most beautiful spots in Sydney

This is a great tourist destination, but I love bringing my young kids as there is always something to see or hear and it is never boring

STAND E - catch it on a bad day and it absolutely reeks!
Catch the Manly ferry for a cheap harbour cruise.
if you need food, simply walk toward the CBD. Circular Quay is a tourist trap that overcharges for low quality foods.
