Welcome to the Official MLB Foursquare Page!
Opened in 2009, Citi Field is the only Major League ballpark to feature orange foul poles instead of the standard yellow. The home of the Mets was named host of the 2013 All-Star Game.
While everyone makes a beeline for Shake Shack, outsmart the crowd and head to Box Frites. They’ll serve you faster than a Doc Gooden heater, and you’ll have a smorgasbord of dipping sauces. Amazin’!
When it opened, Citi was a wasteland for home runs. Not anymore. After the park produced the third-fewest homers in the NL in 2011, Mets officials reduced the in-play surface area by 2% in 2012.
This newly renovated stadium is home to the Mets. Their food selection is some of the best in the nation. Check out the NY favorite Shake Shack or Blue Smoke BBQ.
Everyone rushes to the Shake Shack line when they get to Citi Field, so do yourself a favor and try Blue Smoke. Same location, shorter lines and a great pulled pork sandwich!
Go to Citi Field and cheer for the Mets!
At the Chevrolet Home Run Derby? Keep a look out for the all-new 2014 Silverados located on the field.
Eat @ Shake Shack!
Citi Field is built on the same site the 1964 World's Fair. At that Fair, General Motors' exhibit, "Futurama," introduced the idea of a future of networked, electric cars.
On April 13, 2009 a new era of New York Mets history began with the opening of Citi Field.
stadium = really nice ; METS = Sucky baseball
Everyone will head to Shake Shack but what you want to do is get the three taco special at El Verano Taqueria.
Today, I was here to attend the Mets 2013 Opening Day game.
Can't go wrong with a few beers and friends
Enter through the Right Field or Left Field gates instead of dealing with the crowds in the Jackie Robinson Rotunda.
see a Mets game
Go to Citi Field and thank your lucky stars that you're not at Shea Stadium.
Check the schedule to see who is pitching. If it says Matt Harvey, you will enjoy the game. If it says anyone else's name, bring 70 dollars for drinks.
I prefer it to the New Yankee Stadium because it feels more like a ballpark.
"Catch a NY Mets baseball game at this newly renovated stadium. Citi Field offers great food selection, batting cages, video game kiosks, and other attractions."
One of the first MLB stadiums to have Pepsi MAX on fountain! Try it!
El Taqueria has great tacos and no line. It's right across the way from Shake Shack (behind Center Field scoreboard).
Finding your seats can be tough. Finding a spot to eat is a cinch. Look no further:
Gorgeous ballpark. By far tops my list. Had a phenomenal burger, black and white shake, and fries at Shake Shack. Hopefully one day will be my home ballpark... Let's Go Mets!
Go to right field and experience the Shortest Shake Shack line ever before the game starts
Out in centerfield, the brand new Pat LaFreida filet mignon stand hero with mozzarella & carmelized onions is the greatest thing you'll ever eat at any ballpark...and I've eaten a lot at ballparks ;)
LETS GO METS!!! Love always, @DaveKerpen
Watch the ever first Home Run at Citi Field - a grand slam by Jed Lowrie, as the Mets lose to the Red Sox.
Go to CitiField and watch the Mets beat the Red Sox. Reward yourself with a shiny Metrocard.
Love them Mets...
The black and white shake is delicious...
sometimes a burger is just a burger. Better off with tacos or blue smoke and actually get to watch the game!
Die hard mets fan from the begining
Let me root, root, root for the home team!
Amazing atmosphere, Fan Fest is awesome, Food is great!
Pepsi porch is the place to be!
The Taco Sampler at Taqueria in Center Field is worth the price of admission alone.

Don't waste 2 innings in line at Shake Shack. Grab Blue Smoke BBQ right next door and head down the stairs to get an intimate view of the bullpens
