Get the Tom Kha Soup!
Garlic edamame is incredible, but make sure to have breath mints before ordering.
take a hipster girl here, quote a couple of books. Boom. Done Deal.
Great noodle house in the Upper Haight. Serves saki, wine, beer and shoju cocktails. Inexpensive menu. Dim lighting. Great for a casual date.
get the edamame
Why yes, I will have some 90s jams with my noodles
Garlic beef and shitake mushrooms. Can't go wrong.
Dinner for two for $30 or less. Includes edamame apps, wine, dessert and more than likely a take home box. This place is an absolute ace for a second or third date.
Get the garlic edamame! Best thing on the menu, if you like garlic.
try the garlic edamame and the coconut curry shrimp wonton soup.
Each soup dish could easily feed 3 people
The girl that works on Saturdays is beyond wack.
Mmm get the Thai coconut soup and ask them to put little green army men in it.
Had not been here in a while and when my pho came I remembered why. I don't like their food.
Holy cow! The soup portion is HUGE and could easily feed 2 people OR one VERY hungry person. Great staff and delicious food.
Pho is cinnamon flavored. Not a fan. Shanghai noodles are okay, but they don't actually have udon noodles in them.
Awesome place that makes vegetarian broth with their veg dishes.
The garlic edamame was awesome!
While there are options that are inherently vegan, items can be modified to be vegan. I'm partial to the Wok Tossed Pad Thai, omitting the egg.
get the garlic edamame
The pho isn't great. They do noodle stir frys well.
One of the better restaurants on haight st. Yummy asian noodles. I like the chicken noodle soup or as the call it: the ultimate mommy soup! Prices are around 10 a person or under if you don't add meat
Tom Kha soup is amazing.
Order the soup with coconut milk mmmm
Chicken pho is actually decent, from a pho snob
Killer noodle dishes, superb thick noodles. Highly recommend Burmese chicken, it is sublime. Also the avocado spring rolls with peanut sauce. Nom!
Beef and shitake is great.
The food here is tasty, inexpensive and everything on the menu is delicious.
Apps: Fresh Tofu Spring Rolls (get em before they sell out) or Garlic Wok Tossed Edamame for plan B.
pho ga is pretty good given it's not a dedicated vietnamese restaurant. i always have enough left over for lunch the next day.
Fried banana. Enough said.
Order the orange mint cold noodles with chicken and add Sriracha.
Cheap and cosy Thai
Affordable food. Nothing special, good food for a good price.
Pho is super water-ey
Yellow coconut curry. Get into it.
Garlic edamame is super tasty. Coconut yellow curry lacks flavor.
Bomb sauteed bananas with coconut ice cream! The alcohol in the sake with green tea ice cream is too strong for a dessert.
The pho was a little bland for my taste, but prices are great
Peanut noodles are good. Yellow curry noodles not so much. Sorta hit and miss.
50 degrees inside the restaurant.
Order a soup if you're willing to commit to eating soup for the next five days.
Try the Shanghai Noodles - Very good!
Great spot for yummy asian fare when Alembic and Cha Cha Cha are packed.
Hey, these aren't udon noodles in my shanghai noodles. And what's up with the giant bowl of wonton soup with 5 wontons?
