Civic Center/ Grove exit is almost always fucking broken. Take Market / 8th St instead.
If you're going to Coliseum/OAKland Airport, take a Dublin/Pleasanton or Fremont train to go directly there. Transferring is too easy to get wrong. Hint: CDF.
Who decided it was a good idea to have a train that only runs to 24th street?
If escalators are not working, remember there are elevators! I feel bad seeing elderly people go up those flights of stairs, and it's too late to let then know.

The escalator that goes down into the BART station from UN Plaza is gonna be out of service till 07/30/2012.

The MUNI trains here are always so packed! Take BART: it's faster and in S.F., goes to most of the same stops.
