People tend to check in during these times:
This is Old School Italiano. Family style platters, checkerboard covers, run by the same family since 1952. Grab an Old Style and enjoy the Chicken Parm or Chicken Piccata. Nice wine selection, too!
SOO GOOD. I recommend the Pasta Galassini for the vegetarian pasta dish and the Chicken Parmigiana. #nomnomnom
Chicken Parm rocks!!
Despite the old school facade, the food is beyond phenomenal and cheap for the city. Great service and a cute patio for lunch.
Always get the meat sauce
Great lunch with a large group!
There aren't many restaurants that can boast a great Monday lunch crowd, but with simple Italian favorites and a lively atmosphere, I can see why Club Lago has always been a neighborhood favorite.
Best pizza bread in Chicago.
Their meat sauce is insane.
Great service. Great food
Great old school Italian atmosphere. Guido was a fantastic host. Pulled out an old photo album when my guest brought up an old waitress from 20years ago. Eggplant parm and sautéed broccoli a must
More than a spot for food. The bar is possibly the best in the area.
If you're lucky, you may get the Betty Boop waitress
Home sweet home
Has the house lasagna mmmmm their house meat sauce is delish! Also, if u ask for seltzer they may bring Club
Must eat!! HUGE portions, great atmosphere, awesome cannoli! We loves it here... Me and 4 kids!
Despite a renovation, it's still the same. Regress to old habits: massive portions of lasagna, soft roast beef, carafes of watery Chianti and—this is crucial—some pasta with Lago’s meat sauce.
The fried shrimp is amazing and giant!
They make a killer cappuccino .
leah is awesome. for real.

Just an cool joint. Go there.
Wednesday's straciatella soup special is excellent!
If you want classic, old school Italian, this is the perfect spot.
You can't go wrong with ANYTHING here.
Have the eggplant parm. Ask for Giancarlo (the co-owner, with his bro Guido). But, seriously, the eggplant parm.
