Best of Maine 2017: Family Attraction 🌼 | 2-acre Bibby & Harold Alfond's Children's Garden has step-in vignettes out of children's books, nature investigations, fairies & is mostly stroller friendly.

A beautiful area for children as well. Could spend all day here reading, playing in the sand, and watering the plants.

Beautiful for a day out. They have a free preview weekend at the beginning of spring, but be prepared for crowds and taking a shuttle bus to parking.

This place is much bigger than I expected it to be and has some awesome trails along the Back River. Definitely wear good hiking shoes if you want to explore beyond the paved paths.

On the pricier side for a Botanical garden but there's a lot of variety to see. Check out the Fairy Village for fairy houses made of sticks, I'm not sure which one is Tinker Bell's.

This place is beautiful...book most of the day if you want to see it all and take lots of pictures. The cafe is great too! Expensive, but delicious!

    Been here 5+ times
Beautifully cultivated and designed gardens. Worth multiple trips. The cafe has very good quality, all natural, locally sourced food (and it is delicious). Many of the greens are grown on site.
