Basic but very cheap and authentic dishes, jus a few tables, generous portions, closes late.

  • Theodore 8.

HOT Teh tarik is over sweet but the hometown chicken rice tatse quite good. Loves the chili garlic sause. Okok lah.

Wow. So cheap, so good. Get any of their Nasi Lemak variants.

    Steve Androulakis · April 29
  • Lynn W.

Hawker laksa is not bad. Cheap and cheery!

    Lynn Wabbit · April 16
  • Jun H.

As a Malaysian, I personally feel the food here is below average. There's nothing special about it, just mediocre for taste.

    Jun Heng · February 1
  • Luke D.

    Great authentic Nasi Lemak!

    Luke Dewing · January 23
  • Tashique A.

Curry laksa: good chicken and mushroom with fish cake, a bit spicy and very filling.

    Tashique Alam · November 20, 2014
  • Rosie

They don't take card, which for a city restaurant is a fucking joke. Plus what we got tasted like cuppa noodles.

    Rosie · August 11, 2014
  • Samantha O.

Nearest to home for Malaysian and Singaporean students. Decent bah kut teh, live to eat it on a cold day. Big menu, lots of variety, you'd see something familiar from home.

    Samantha Ooi · August 10, 2014
  • Anjo M.

Meh. Don't be fooled by the yummy food photos and "awards" they claim. Food is below average. Nothing special. Customer service aint that good either.

    Anjo Miranda · August 10, 2014
  • Pedro M.

Get the chicken - any chicken really.

    Pedro Merces · August 7, 2014

I'm a laksa addict, so when I saw the article posted on the window boasting that this place had the best laksa in town, I had to try it--and was not at all let down! All laksas are under $10 too!

    Christine of Hexotica · August 4, 2014
  • Kristian L.

    Cash only. Boo

Blah-ish food, but decent enough for a Asian food craving. Floor is greasy, be careful!

    siew · April 23, 2014
  • Michelle M.

A favourite place for a quick and cheap laksa.

    Michelle Matthews · March 27, 2014

They aren't messing about when they say they're the best Laksa in town. This is the best laksa I've had in Australia!

Got attracted by the photos at the shop front... bit disappointed of the food.. The bbq pork tasted like meat from stew.. staff was impolite and got no smile on her face at all!

    Karen Maruko · August 24, 2013
  • Claire O.

Yummy noodles, cheap, cheerful and really quick Malaysian food. Order at the front, not at your table.

    firestartr · June 13, 2013
  • Harjunan S.

Nasi lemak was disappointing sambal was burnt(yes it came in black) and rice was full of large sediments of coconut instead of rice. Have some quality control please. Plus point was the chicken chop.

    Harjunan Supperamohan · April 8, 2013
  • Paige L.

3 layer tea looks like Teh ais. Poured soup in my cup And pretend it didn't happen. Dumb ass!

    Paige Lee · March 6, 2013
  • Mei L.

Had a table outside, lots of flying lingering around my face. Nasi lemak nyonya is oily, from the sambal.

    Mei Ling · February 24, 2013
  • jayson c.

everything's authentic, even the bad service

    jayson choo · February 24, 2013

ISN'T IT OBVIOUS WE'RE HAVING HERE IF WE SIT DOWN? That waitress has to stop asking people 'having here or take away' with her impatient face

    Ron · September 6, 2012

They forgot our order & lied about it. They changed one of the dishes without telling us. Food arrived messy. If it wasn't for the food, I wouldn't ever come back.

    Jesse Oey · August 12, 2012
  • Wayne L.

Be careful of the very slippery floor especially near the kitchen and toilets.

    Shawn Chen · June 10, 2012
