People tend to check in during these times:
Don't take Muni -- climb up the hill that Coit Tower sits on. It's a brutal series of stairs.
Nice 360 view of SF. A must visit when in town!
Enjoy the views from the observation deck but don’t forget to check out the socialist-leaning WPA-era murals in the base of the tower as well. - Green Guide Editor
Come late at night, 3am or past. Be quiet and enjoy the view.
Worth $5 to go to the top - great 360 degree view.
The murals inside are worth seeing
look for the parrots. not always around but they'll be in the trees.
Coit Tower is a monument to the firefighters of San Francisco. It was commissioned by Lillie Hitchcock Coit, a wealthy socialite who loved to chase fires. It took 5 years to construct.
One of my favorite views of the city. Only open till 5 PM and the parking is limited, but it's worth it.
Molest the statue of Christopher Columbus
Because of his pose and Heroic proportions, when you stand in the right place, Columbus looks like he's holding hi pee pee.
Stand at all 4 points around the tower, take pictures at eye level using the Dermandar app and create a 360 panorama of the entire city from Coit Tower. It's cool, you'll like it.
Really fun to come here at night.
Walk up the steps from Levi Plaza for some exercise and a gorgeous hike along some private gardens.
A nice place to take your girlfriend..
The only one ....! The special one!!!!
Great place to bring a lunch, relax and take in the views of SF.
The elevator ticket is worth it. Park by Levi Plaza and walk up the Filbert Steps
Go to Coit Tower during Fleet Week and watch the air show from the top of the tower.
Very limited parking available so utilize the SF Muni system. #39 picks up at Pier 39 and takes you straight there. $2 for the ride up!
Walk from the bottom of the Filbert Street Steps to Coit Tower. You get a beautiful view on the way up, and some exercise!
Starting place for the SF City Guides: Coit Tower Tour
For the full experience, park at the bottom of the hill and hike to the top. You'll pass through one of the most interesting neighborhoods in the city, and you'll be rewarded at the top with a view!
Absolutely worth the climb up the steps... Gorgeous views!
Go to Coit Tower, but only at night. You'll get a beautiful quite view of the city and you'll avoid the tourist rush.
The best view in town!
The top of the tower has great panaromic views of the city.
Strangely enough, the line down is longer than the line up. However, cant beat the great 360 degree views of the city from the top.
A round trip on the weekend will take an hour and a half. The breakdown will be: 30 min wait to go up, 5 min walking around at the top, 55 min wait to go down #oneslowelevator #derp
A small price of $7 to see a 360° view of San Francisco. Worth every cent!
Not worth $7. Go to Twin Peaks instead.
Cool but probably not worth paying the $7 to go up
Almost cooler than the view is the collection of international coins people left on the window ledges.
$7 not worth the big schlep, plus they only take cash. View from the base is great.
Not worth 7$
incredible panoramic view of sf.
Again, breathtaking view. Looks cool too.
Great view at the top of coit tower!
I was satisfied with the view from the top of the stairs at the base of the tower. You might be too!
Love this place.
Offers great views of the bay and city. There is a restroom outside but dont be fooled... There are also restrooms inside the tower
Excellent views day or night. Pair with a visit to Tony's pizza. You'll burn a few calories working your way up...
Thought it was shit, really. The elevator has space for about ten people. The lines are long and the views obscured by glass. Total waste of money. Avoid this con.
Great view of all of San Francisco. Adult ticket $7.
Don't try to park on weekends it's by permit only
Вид - говно. $7 не стоит.
