Best Italian in Brooklyn. Ignore the comment below. This place is great. I've been going here for years. My family has been going here for generations. Food is excellent. Fried calimari is a must.

My wife's family has been a frequent diner since the 1940' and I have been coming here regularly for more than 20 years.... love this place. It's worth the drive from Central NJ on any occasion!

The homemade manicotti with side of meatballs is the way to go, IF none of the specials strike your fancy. Espresso for desert comes with Anisette. Nice touch.

Anything with clams makes a wonderful appetizer, as does the mozzarella in carrozza ("in a carriage") – the best toasted cheese sandwich you've ever had. Read more

My favorite Italian Restaurant. Love going for the live music on Thursday nights - such a nice way to enjoy a meal with friends and family. The homemade ravioli and fettuccine are out of this world.

Just WRONG. I am leaving without eating; my veal Marsala came out with pounding marks. Good veal doesn't need pounding. The presentation was mid evil. Artichoke heart no flavor. Just terrible.
